10/10 for creative -2 for bad handwriting and spelling for every story exercise in school, always believed that something wrong with me, thank you for providing me a perspective I am just me witch led to self acceptance and my first self directions that true with my core. 🙌🙌

It is a disability is the sense of I am unable to do specific tasks with my brain when I want to do them but most certainly I find my dyslexia to be very valuable for chemistry, before starting my honours degree I would be making use of it in other ways and now that I can get back into university and have a focused path I have a much easier time working with my dyslexia to improve myself, though The open university has yet to provide dyslexic help for their chemistry modules, everything else gets audio and physical copies but their chemistry modules, its something they are working on but I am kinda baffled that no other dyslexics have ever taking the course? Not sure how its ended up happening.

Thanks so much for all your hard work in spreading the word about how amazing dyslexic people are. My daughter is dyslexic and has all the skills mentioned in the video 😍 she has just finished her GCSE exams, her English teacher predicted As and yet despite being aware of special consideration for my daughter the external examiner scored a C due to her spelling and punctuation! A 'C' is a brilliant grade and we are very proud of all her achievements., It's so unfair not have the grade she deserves just because of spelling mistakes. Her English teacher has looked at her paper and has requested a remark of her paper. Does anyone know if there is any way I can educate/ raise awareness of how wrong our current marking system is?- would writing to our local counselor or education department help? Many thanks

Thank you for your empowering message. I'm an artist with occasional stuttering. When I was 10yrs old I was taught another language "English" - Boy did I struggled! I believe my dyslexia has helped me with many of my abilities in art, design and problem solving. 37 years later I still struggle to write a simple email. Texting and email is how the business world works nowadays. How do I navigate this?

If someone goes to college, and then receives propaganda through reading, a person who doesn't read much or doesn't go to college isn't going to get that propaganda, and instead they will rely on common sense.
