Wood chipper mechanism build - • Making Wood chipper me...
3 Phase Helical Gear Motor Restoration - • Restoration - 3 Phase ...
You may remember that I've done similar machines before. The first was very dangerous and the second one I sold.
I decided to do the third version because I have a lot of branches that take up a lot of space. After that, winter is coming and I will have to take care of firewood why a wood splitter will certainly be helpful.
Machine is driven by 3kW / 4Hp 3 Phase electric helical gear motor which reduce the rotation of the mechanism to 200 rpm.
The weight of this construction is about 150 - 200 kg.

Super! Strasznie spodobała mi się ta "ręczna wiertarka stołowa" :-) he he... Stopka do wiercenia prostopadłego jest super!

Polish ppl know things very good, for example loss of power in diesel engine means blocked fuel pipes or bad air/fuel mixture or no fuel in the tank. There are probably more possible issues but I'm to young to know. I heard that kids can already assemble a basic tractor and other machinery.

In Poland and rest of slavic past-communist countries you have huge pressure for mathematic, physics more than for humanistic subjects. 20 years ago everone was had a technical drawing as subject in schools, connect it with lack of sources at commie times and you have wizards who can create everything from scratch :) Now it change and kids are from primary school are start learning IT subjects but math still play the main role as most important subject in schools.

Alazar Tekie What Poland syndome has to do with Polish people? You just know the name of this syndome and that’s all. „What does Poland has to show for being bright and ingenious” Some examples: bulletproof vest, windshield wipers, blue laser - this is why you can strone so many files on your CD and watch full HD movies. Rovers (space exploration), color photos and mine detector also called as a Polish mine detector and this time not only becouse of the surname of British scientist (Poland Syndrome, Alfred Poland)

You did an absolutely fantastic job, the only error I believe made here was that the axe head is not removable and is welded to the plate. That is a piece that will go bad and will need to be replaced easily. Again Overall Fantastic Job.

Not really.. Its not relying on sharpness to do the splitting. And fasteners will tend to come loose. It can be ground off in minutes in the rare case it needs to be replaced. I'm much more concerned about the lack of safety features. That corkscrew is just waiting for a loose sleeve and I dont see an emergency stop. The chopper should also have a bar to save anyone getting pulled in. Both of these situations WILL happen eventually, with enough machines and hours, only a matter of time. I know there is an argument for survival of the fittest/that office worker types and those lacking common sense should just stay away from dangerous machines, but anyone can get distracted, have a bad day, be in a rush. It is worth protecting your customers.

I’ve come to expect very solid design and very good execution from you. The design on this one is particularly well done. Very robust. I like how you show off in subtle ways. Like slotting between holes with the plasma cutter. Perfectly tangent, no grinding needed. Nice work
