Fabulous footage and great choice! I've been to Madeira a few times but haven't seen all these yet. From my list I would definitely recommend to check out the Lavada das 25 fontes. Few hours walking and amazing views

Hey, Andreas ! Thanks for watching ! First, you’ll enjoy Madeira. Such an amazing place 😍 Second, we rented a car because we recorded the video their and we had to be flexible and often started the day before the sunrise. But it’s possible to travel by bus there. Also, a lot of locals recommended us taxis or day tours . They said it’s not so expensive. But we are not sure about that. And the last one, we are from Ukraine and Lithuania, that’s where the accents are from 😊😊

Thank you so much, Viki! No, Madeira is not touristy at all. Maybe a little bit crowded in Funchal when the cruises come but in the other parts we didn’t see a lot of tourists . Also try to avoid crowded parts and choose less known ones (as we did with the volcanic pools. Honestly, the spot we found was much more better and absolutely empty).

Hopefully you had the DJI insurance. Also if it's lost you can see it on the map, but with the more recent DJI drones you can also let it beep on demand so its easier to find in case of a crash. Great video otherwise:)

No luck with finding it, also by the time I hiked down the battery likely died and was not able to beep any longer. But yes the good news is that we were able to get the drone replaced by DJI.

I just arrived in madeira . I went straight to Pico do Arieiro. The main reason I went to madeira, was to fly my dji air mavic 2. To see the amazing landscapes. 5 minutes into my flight, its like something took over my drone and I saw it crashing on the other end. I heart dropped. Never experienced this before I thought I was the only one. Could this be because of the altitude?? . Still trying to stay positive and enjoy the island 😢😢😊

Oh no 🙈 no it’s not because of the altitude we have flown on top of the alps multiple times in very cold conditions with no issues at all. From what we have discovered is that when they turn on the radar in knocks everything out of the sky with a signal. They really need to put up a sign there warning people. But send the report to DJI and they will send you a new drone. They did it for us. Thank you for watching we hope you will still enjoy the island and all it’s beauty. 🤍🤍

You can do tours with guides and see west and east in 2 days for 60 euro. Taxi in the city is less than 10 euro. A car rent is really more expensive

Hey 👋 thanks for watching. Yes the tours are quite affordable and can be a great choice for many. For us it’s a bit impossible to record with a tour group and thus we need a car to be able to explore the island on our own :) ♥️

They are definitely the best ! And the hikes - Pico do Arieiro is the highlight of the trip to Madeira (just don’t fly the drone there). Also Dragon’s Tail trail known as Vereda de Ponta de Sao Lourenco. Loved it sooo much ! And the final - Miradouro Lombo do Mouro and Bica da Cana viewpoints for the sunrise .

Madeirans are very far from a progressive, tolerant society and are very attached to an old, very backwards, uneducated way of living but the island has great infrastructure, absurd natural beauty and much dignity through noticeable organization and cleanliness. It's diametrically opposite to mainland Portugal.

I doubt that it’s mine, mine went down in the middle of no where down a cliff. There are so many drones there. At least 20 people have told us that they lost their drone there. Can’t even imagine how many people have lost theirs. Also our drone would be deactivated now by DJI because they sent us a replacement, making the drone incapable of being unlocked to fly. But I will go look at the post ICNF did. Thank you Mark
