Its crazy there's we live in an age when people don't remember rotary phones or switchboard operators. Ethan Hawke is a masterful creep, but yeah, these two steal the show. Their sibling relationship is the heart of it.

Honestly one of the best movies I've ever seen, I love you manson and Madeleine 💗

I was very impressed by young Mason Thames' incredible acting, for this being his first film. He emoted so much with just his eyes alone since his character Finney was so quiet and withdrawn from being bullied his whole young life. The only thing I worry about is that Mason seems shy and uncomfortable in real life as well. He fidgeted a lot in the interview so him being thrown into and getting so much attention and fame all of a sudden for his first movie role, I hope all the attention from paparazzi, teen girls and press doesn't scare him. Here I am again being the protective Mother like when I was watching the film and digging my nails into my arm chair because I was so concerned for Finney's well being...hahaha. I just know what Hollywood has done to some child actors and it isn't pretty, so I hope Mason can handle all the sudden attention and craze of being famous. Madeleine looks to have settled into her fame and is comfortable with it, thankfully. I just hope Mason can adjust as well.

These too are the best, both such talented actors and Madeline is so strong voiced, sometimes it’s hard to hear people in interviews but these two did so well

This boy looks like so many actors, it's uncanny. He looks like young Brad Renfro, a young Patrick Swayze, a young Heath Ledger, a young Chris Mulkey, a younger Tom Holland and Bjorn Anderson.

they kinda have the relationship of platonic soul mates honestly, they remind me of the millie Bobby brown and Noah schnapp type or like Leonardo decaprio and Kate Winslet.

I love how Mason keeps looking and smiling at Madeline 💕🤩, the fact they had more chemistry in real life two they hung out and ate together and played football together like from first sight they got along even in the interview these kids grow so fast and I absolutely love then so much they have an awesome great relationship in general and if they ever got together in the future it would literally warm my heart for me they seem like a sister and brother but in general they seem like shy to try to like sit closed or hold hands incase paparazzi did something stupid again as they do to other actors plus celebrities which is disgusting and very annoying shipping ppl without knowing the truth or just guessing things abt them which literally disgusts me alot but I really loved the movie and these kids hope we see you in the future someday they maybe will upload "The black phone 2" and its where its them as grown ups and having intense senses going on about finney imagining seeing his ghost frineds every where he goes it would be so cool good job ethan and everyone else!!💫💞

This was a great film . Captured the essence of the spirit that harm children...it was very spiritual...seeing the beast that's inside the grabber

This movie was one of the best I have seen in a long time I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I watched it was phenomenal. It was scary, heartwarming, Intense and the acting was just brilliant

I thought it was a horror movie but actually it was a movie to make you cry oceans

I was impressed how mason remembers all possible numbers of 23317 for the lock

Everyone looked like they walked right out of that era: comfortable with the clothes, the tech, etc. The whole cast was excellent, but extra respect to the kids, who were just amazing.
