Does your singing voice ever feel inconsistent and unstable? Is your vocal break unpredictable? Do you have to flip into head voice often when you sing? Your vocal cords may need strengthening. In this video, we will talk about your larynx position, good vocal cord stretches, creating proper vocal cord tension, and developing perfect air pressure.

Greetings. While I am not a singer, though that would be nice thing to add to my skillsets, I am starting a career in voice over and voice acting. I am scouring the web for ways to strengthen my voice, increase duration, increase range, control my voice and in some ways find my voice and vocal niche. I am finding your training and instruction to be quite useful in helping me on this journey. Thank you for these.

I'm continually amazed at your range. I certainly cant get as high as you, and you might even be able to get lower than me.

Thank you so much for another amazing video Madeleine!! One question for ya - you mentioned that A is your resonance pitch. What exactly do you mean by that & how would we discover our own resonance pitch?? ❤️

Vocal diction is what you're looking for, better vowels, it's definitely a tough one.

I'm afraid because I tried to strengthen my voice with another KZfaq Music lessons girl who didn't explain it well and I hurt myself doing a peacock call exercise. I couldn't sing from September to Saint Lucia day 2020.

If I practice this kind of exercise for a longer period of time, like 2 hours, is it hurt my cord?

Is there any difference between inhaling through the nose and or the mouth in singing. Which are more useful and stronger to use.?

My teacher said it’s better to do it through your mouth, since when you do it through your nose something like your soft palette (I forgot lol) closes and it’s gonna be harder to sing, but when you breather through your mouth and then sing everything’s already open

OK so for me, I was trying for years to get up to singing a full 3-4 hour gig. I could always only get up to 1-2 hours. Then suddenly in May of this year, 2023, I could only sing for like 15 minutes or 3 songs, then got hoarse, and felt it somewhat. So I waited from then till now in NOvember to go see an ENT doctor. Well they put the scope in my throat and they found out my vocal cords do not close all the way, they said I need to go to a singing teacher to fix it. Well I can not afford to go see anyone, as this doctor visit really set me way back. What now? How do I fix it, and get to singing a full gig? I have no nodes or polyps or anything else.
