So a totally irrelevant story This song was posted exactly 1 day before I had surgery 2 years ago. I was 15 at the time (I'm a senior in highschool now) and I was pretty scared and panicky about it. It was a fairly common procedure, but it was still a major operation and I was high-risk back then. I kept it together during the few weeks leading up to the date, but the night before I was scheduled to go to the hospital I just completely broke down. Crying, sniveling, I was hideous lol. In the middle of my gross breakdown, I got a notification on KZfaq from my phone that Madeon uploaded a new video. I listened to this song and I immediately felt like someone pulled a huge weight off my shoulders. I was nervous, but I wasn't afraid anymore. I couldn't sleep most of the night and so I spent it listening to this on repeat. When I went to the hospital in the morning, I listened to it while getting prepped. Even though it was unlikely, in the event of complication I was completely happy with this being the last song I ever listened to. I lived and made a full recovery. Even got to see one of his concerts 8 months afterwards. Really cool guy. Two years later and I still come back to this song during hard times.

Maybe I'm just a fanboy, but people who are criticising this song are doing it for the wrong things in my opinion. Madeon said it loud and clear: the song expresses his love for Pop music and lovely harmonic chord progressions. If you sit and listen, you can feel how much time, care and effort went into this, then you'll start to really appreciate it. If you look at it as a "commercial song", please do look again. This is Madeon, a young producer who's taste is evolving and in my opinion he's creating something extremely unique with his music. I love this song, it's deep in my opinion and really speaks to me in such an "encouraging" sort of way. Chord progression, immaculate sound and detail, just brilliant.

Ugh, I absolutely love Madeon's music!! Everything he makes is actual perfection, especially this song. This song is hard to explain. The beats are amazing, the synths are absolutely fantastic and the whole vibe it gives off is just great! It's the kind of song you would listen to on a hot summer night, especially one where the sun is setting and you might be on a beach or something. And the vocals! Oh my God, the vocals are incredible!! My absolute favorite part of the song vocal-wise has to be at 1:00 when he says "Damn girl, since you've come around girl, need to know right now. So won't you just tell me whose side you're on? And it obviously repeats throughout the song. Another great part is the repetition of the opening synth at 0:3. I love that part, which makes me happy that he repeats it throughout the entire song. And although this is one of my favorite Madeon songs, his entire discography is fantastic. So to anyone who has only heard one song, check out the entire Adventure (Deluxe) album and his entire discography!! You will not be disappointed!!

I spent way too long trying to find this, only had a short clip to go off of and I'm just glad I finally found it!!!

I first listened to this song in march 2019, it was a strange period in my life, i was depressed, i was in a relationship with the only girl that i loved, it was a long distance relationship, i have a lot of things to say. But this song gives me unique feels because i listened it only for a short period of time, 1 2 weeks i think then it simply faded away. Everytime i listen to this song I can simply have the same feelings that i had in those days, i can't barely express how much this song means to me even though i listened to it for such a short time.... I think I will try to listen often in order to associate this song with something better..
