Lawrence D Souza had connection with the " D" gang. They also financed his successful movie "Saajan". So in a way your observation is correct. Rikku Rakeshnath was Maduri's secretary and it was said that he was telephonically instructed from Dubai to compulsorily accept some movies they financed.

The film is shot in pieces therefore it appears very boring to watch the videos of films being shot! We must appreciate the patience and talent of the artists, because they have to remember the characters they play even though the shooting sequence is random!
