one comment to Madis is when shaping, say to right, not to LOWER the right side, instead he should stretch center CM straight upward and lifting left side a little more that will reach the purpose of shaping to the right very efficiently and dynamically to control the whole movement. beautiful, elegant and full of momentum to manipulate next movement follows.

In tango, Madis is walking light in Promenade and elsewhere, not placing weight over his moving foot. His weight a bit too far back, and he should have more tension in the toe of the preparing-to-move leg, also preparing by sideways moving the lower back of Aleksandra and himself (preparation move, and bounce downward, to get speed and weight-flying over the moving leg). You can see the preparation move repeatedly used in the dance in Unbreak My Heart (HERO) by Nikotin and Anastasia.

When a couple can dance 1 minute excellently, it is just a matter of time until they can do it 1 and a half or even two minutes.. The couple from Estonia is FASCINATING and may become a grand finalist professionally. I guess it is fascinating to work on the routine last part of the dances, to calm down and recover in periods, like doing slows and walks in tango, and beauty contra checks, slowly slow-slow down, wait slow-slow, then slowly up slow-slow, and lady beautifully touching man's check almost . I call it BEAUTYHEAD TANGO. When man is in the centre of the circle in tango and lady outside, don't count quick and let lady hopelessly traffic her head wildly, qount slows and beautifully LEAD the lady to tension-slow in outer circle with back and head, maybe when you get more experience with Katusha Demidova-like (very) small staccato quicks in the slows to give it character. The solo foxtrot video when you stop before beginning and make people laugh, is a masterpiece of a foxtrot. Man is excellant with musicality, lady lovely in following. The entire world is fascinated in seeing this couple in the future. It has developed astronomically last year.

Does anyone think the waltz shapes are too over the top and the movements stiff? The foxtrot routines are impressive but no smoothness, everything keeos jerking around. Quickstep looks awesome, though.

The foxtrot they danced did not have much relaxed and lazy features, that were given by the name of the dance. However, this is usually the case in the WDSF competition.

AN ASTONISHING COUPLE FROM ESTONIA. I admire the man's unique smoothness, and lady lovely in movements and very cleaver in togetherness with man. Timing excellant also in Viennese waltz (a difficult dance). BUT, honestly, this man lacks STAMINA at his young age. The first part of quickstep, foxtrot, viennese waltz EXCELLANT. The last part BAD, like he fell completely out of balance forward in foxtrot and destroyed last part of dance. Sometimes he is OVERLEADING the lady, sometimes overswaying, sometimes unnessesary abrupt, leading lady to ugly head movements (THIS lady is unique in head smoothly following back movement, when kindly and properly lead by man). When man is tired last part of dance these things always happen.Train stamina, man. Young couples ALWAYS must overcome such obstacles. This couple has a HUGE TALENT. If they follow this advice, they are world class.

Helge Christophersen they train alot of stamina and i know because i was in the same dance club as they were and alexandr makatov is all about stamina. I was in the same group as he

That’s what happens when balance and collection of weight over the standing leg is sacrificed to movement and distortion of shape. Couple is not always in time as they fall from one movement to the next.
