Kim Marshall is a hunbot that must be stopped... her antics have gone too far, and she believes she is untouchable. Today I'll be talking about Kim Marshall (I CAN'T believe I pronounced her name wrong the whole video! I promise you I did so much research on this but when I went up to film I had a total brain fart on her last name. lmao!) I'll be diving into all the controverisal things Kim Marshall (or, KM) has done, the oddest of them all being her constant promotion of these "magic beads" that she has made some outrageous claims about. The most important take away is that what KM has been doing is illegal, and we can help put an end to these illegal actions by reporting her to the FTC. PLEASE, PLEASE do not send any hate Kim's way, because she will only use that as ammunition. Instead, please help me in reporting KM to the FTC. Hate will only bring out more hate, and hating on KM is not worth our time and energy.

I’ve been doing chemo for the past two years. Before my first round, I bought a bracelet with amethyst beads that was for ‘healing’. I knew that it wasn’t going to heal me; that’s just sad and ridiculous. It was more for a reminder to stay positive and not give up when I felt so weak I couldn’t walk. Saying beads can cure any illness or condition is so manipulative and criminal to people who will do anything to live. This woman (Kim) is disgusting.

And here I am putting a paragraph long disclaimer about how crystals are based on spiritual belief and should not be used in lieu of regular treatment for (actually nice looking and half the price lol) jewelry in my Etsy store. Like, I feel like crystals have energy and crap but not like in a...... forego regular treatment way...... more of like a..... “hey it can’t hurt even if it’s placebo!” kind of way lol. That being said I have never in my life felt any sort of energy from a crystal of that size like a little bead? Never. I’m talking like legitimately big crystals. Which is why I write in my store that the little ones don’t do anything..... and again, the big ones don’t DO anything, they’re just supposed to prime you like.... so say if you’re anxious and you keep crystals for anxiety around, you’d be maybe more benefitted by regular treatment. And even that could be placebo. I just like things from the earth... But yeah, little beads like this, so sad. Edit; did you just say $600?! Omg.. I was thinking they were like $35 bucks when I said my stuff was half the price LOL

@@cruelworldhappymind I know. And like you said in the video the people who will buy these things are people who are desperate, people who need to be saving their money for their medical treatments. It's so hard when you get bad health news, you want to cling onto anything that offers hope. Like I'm pro lavender to help me sleep but I'm sceptical of anything that promises cures that a doctor doesn't recommend. Like I have a good doctor who will advise me on alternatives to meds if there's a chance they'll help, but you get recommended mad shit. Someone told me to cure my chronic fatigue I should put a shoebox full of bread soda under my bed where my head lies and it would absorb the excess electricity that's causing it. That's obviously bull, but when you get into alternative medicine and herbal things and reflexology it's a lot harder to differentiate, and also there's an inherent assumption that if you're spending a lot of money on something it can't do NOTHING. It sickens me that there are people out there knowingly profiting off people's desperation, how do they sleep at night?

AGREED! I have RA and my family even with insurance spends a lot of money on keeping me managing this illness as much as can be done. People that offer false hope, instead of say let's put more money into seeking medications! We've cured many forms of MD, and have helped those with CF recently. That cost a lot, and many people dedicated their education and careers to finding these treatments and cures. And then there are beads, let's just go with beads.

As someone who loves crystals and have used them for their metaphysical properties, claims of these beaded bracelets curing anything is a sham. At most, real crystals from a reputable source should be used as a supplemental therapy only. As an example - for me personally, citrine helps lift my mood but it will never cure my depression.
@cruelworldhappymind

Exactly it’s like lighting incense in your home it may make you feel better but it’s not going to cure anything. I’ve used crystals for a long time they do help me but they are not a singular tool to cure things. They also need to be properly cleansed once in a while and not everyone knows how to do that. You are putting quite a bit of negative energy into the stone which means it will gradually become less effective. Cleansing is like a reset button.

I have a bead store for my side income and know what all these beads cost, even when gold filled findings are used to make the bracelets. They are real stones and more expensive than plastic beads but you can make your own bracelet exactly the same with the same stone beads for about $10-$15 dollars (depending on the findings you use). It blows my mind how much she gets away with. Her “tribe” is slowly distancing themselves away from her. It’s also bizarre how SO MANY people think beads & bracelets can cure medical issues. That makes no sense 😂 Lastly, I think the lawsuit is active, which is why it’s not being talked about. She would’ve ranted if the “charges” were dropped. Also, KM’s friend’s story literally made no sense. So many of KM’s “tribe” questioned her about the sketchy behavior. Like KM’s friend C, said she couldn’t mention the girls name b/c of OSHA (really should’ve said HIPAA, red flags galore).

Along with, talking with St. Jude legal department. So I think a lawsuit is happening. I’m not 100% sure.

As a silversmith who also works with stones, I was just as mad as you were in this video! I cannot believe that price point on those bracelets! Just a bit of insight if anyone is still even considering them. 1. I have bought stone beads in Thailand for less than $1 that look like they are way higher quality than the beads that make up the bracelets. 2. Those "14k gold filled" $600+ pieces of trash. I can't. Gold-filled is much different from gold and even gold vermeil. Gold -fill is actually made of up a base metal and then has a light layer of the gold, in the case 14k, on top of it. Gold-vermeil is "filled" as well, more often-than-not with a higher quality of metal inside (like silver) and a much thicker layer of gold on the outside. Soooo.... $600 for gold plated iron.... gross. I just found your channel and I can't stand MLMs, thanks for bringing these companys to light!

From someone who lovessss collecting crystals and crystal jewelry... the healing properties they carry come from intention. She speaks of quartz and electromagnetic energy... it is used in technology almost as a recording chip... thus you speak and think an intention into the crystal as you hold it near to you. The energy you put into it, you will associate with it. So it’s kind of like taking a placebo pill... but if you believe in energy than you will understand how it can be “healing”. ... that has nothing to do with finally taking a poop or losing weight in some sort of miracle / scientific way. Yeah this lady is awful. Amazing job asking to report her rather than troll her. 💪🏻🙌🏻

People using crystals and stones as cure-alls and bullshitting people makes me so mad. I follow Wicca, so I do believe that crystals and stones can have certain properties and help you with things, but so many people take that and think it will change their lives. Their whole point is to keep a certain goal in mind when you have it on you or you're near it. It doesnt just fix shit. The whole point of having a "weight loss crystal" is to have something that you can look at and draw inspiration and motivation from. KM and others peddling these things as stupid cure-alls makes people who actually understand their purpose and find them helpful look stupid and I'm so tired of it

So often, when a shady and immoral person like this is exposed for their misdeeds, well-intentioned people will flock to that person's social media and bombard them with hateful messages as a form of punishment. Unfortunately, even if the person in question does deserve the criticism, they will use that harassment as an excuse to paint themselves as a martyr and portray their critics as bullies. Giving your audience a better way to channel their outrage and get real results is a really smart thing to do.

There's this trend of middle aged women latching onto the "new age" community and twisting it into marketing schemes. I will however say that a crystal fading over time doesn't mean it is fake. I believe you mentioned being a yoga instructor in another video and I just wanted to say it’s really cool that you are very down to earth and don’t believe a lot of the Alt med woo-woo bs that a lot of yoga enthusiasts fall for. Keep educating girl!

Thank you!! I think seeing a lot of my friends fall for this stuff made me more passionate about bringing the scams to light!

Thankfully, I'd never heard of this woman before I watched this video, but she sounds like a career scammer, which makes it that much more amazing that so many people would be so gullible to believe the more and more out-of-touch-with-reality crap that she is selling. I cannot imagine what it is like to have a lethal disease and sadly, I am sure it makes people WANT to believe in something that might help. But, beads that help you lose weight? Come on... That just means people who are too lazy and unmotivated to work out and watch their food intake, which is how they WOULD lose weight. They just want a quick fix, so they will buy all kinds of crap from career scammers to be able to say, "Honey, I tried..." No, you didn't. I am sorry, I am finding it very hard to feel sorry for those who fall for something like this.

This is true... I do think her saying stuff like “it’s science” as if she has scientific evidence that this bracelet helps is misleading for people who may trust her. I feel bad for people for trusting her, but of course if you’re using bracelets as an excuse for not taking better care for yourself then you may be in some huge denial.

I hate to be THAT person, but to say it's just laziness is so not true. It can be yes, but many other things cause obesity. It not easy to lose weight and change life long habits. A lot of the time it's because of poor parenting, and the person has it ingrained into them to eat to much and/or not exercise enough. It's very difficult to lose a bunch of weight when you have been over weight your entire life. Yes, it does come with heath problems most of the time, but with professional help poeple can get better and lose weight. You telling them "stop being lazy" is not.

Idk why you’re being so hateful about the beads. I wore the Mardi Gras beads for only a week, and my life has changed significantly. I publically sh*t my pants 43 times, won a spelling bee at an elementary school (wasn’t invited, won anyway), lost 3 pounds, gained 4 pounds, got off my psychiatric meds, and have been sleeping under a water slide in an abandoned water park!! 😍 Thank you magic beads!!! I’ve never been so lucky 🍀!!!!

Not only is it scary what she says these beads will do but she has even reposted and liked comments about people skipping their mortgage or not getting their prescriptions to save up their money to buy those ridiculous beads. She is so predatory it makes me sick.

Thank you so much! It’s been my secret for a long time but all I use for blush and highlight is the pink physicians formula butter highlighter... it gives such a great blush tone and an all over highlighted look! It’s always worked well for me 🤷🏼‍♀️
