Recorded at the 2015 Mid Atlantic Dance Jam. MADjam is the largest West Coast Swing party in the Eastern United States. It features NASDE and WSDC contests for amateurs and professionals, dozens of workshops and amazing social dancing that brings over 1500 dancers together from around the world on the first weekend in March. I found this because of a post on TikTok. I wanted to see the rest of it so Google led me here. I am floored. This is such a special talent. I'm not sure if I've ever seen something so flawlessly executed, and yet so genuinely spontaneous. Amazing!!!

I have watched this over 10 times and each time there's something new I find. I was mesmerized by both of them the first watch. On the few next watches I couldn't keep my eyes off her because of how creative, technical and smooth she is. On the next watches I kept watching the audiences reactions looking at each person. Then on the last few watches I really understood another aspect of the magic and just watched him. This guy is a genius. He knew instinctively when to let her shine and reciprocated her moves while adding his flavour and she did the same. Knowing when to lead and back off. Having two completely different styles and making them both elevate each other. I don't think Michelin star chefs have ever even come close to creating a flavour close to this. Literally art in motion. Thank you for making my life richer. Just wow

Saw this for the first time as a reel on Instagram a lil over a year ago, it came up on my memories a couple of weeks ago & I finally dug deeper to find the whole performance. I’ve also found myself rewatching multiple times for the same reasons! She was my main focus at first, but then after multiple rinses, you notice that he’s 100% the lead from the get-go… but he is SO attentive to every move she makes, that it’s damn near impossible to know who is actually leading, & by the 40 second mark, it’s pure, mutual flow & chemistry. The audience was my final focus, & one of my favorite elements of watching these videos. Passionate response is such a real & beautiful thing. I smile & wiggle on the couch every time this clip crosses my feed! I was a dancer my whole life & this will forever be one of my favorite duos I’ve come across on the internet. 🖤
