This is my first time reaction and first time hearing Led Zeppelin and their song "whole lotta love" music video live at Madison Square Garden. This was a great song both studio and live.

Led Zeppelin 1968-1980. British. Robert Plant - Lead singer. Harmonica. Tambourine. Jimmy Page - Lead Guitar, founder of the band, produced all their albums. John Paul Jones - Bass, Keys, Mandolin, anything else they needed. Music arranger for the band. John Bonham - drums. He passed away September 1980. Band broke up then because without those four band members, they couldn’t be Led Zeppelin. NOTE: Studio is the song. Live they improvised every single time. Never played the same song the same way. That was part of the live experience.

Your right we did use substances back in the day. But im a lot older now and you dont need them to enjoy pure talent. Stairway to Heaven live from MSG is a masterpiece to be witnessed with the eyes and ears. You do you. Led Zeppelin fans understand. We were the same way starting in 1969. We couldn’t believe what we were hearing. Studio in 1969 was often live takes. But you do whatever you like - it’s your channel. 😊

Actually MSG is like the best footage, because most if not all was for their movie, so something went wrong with this footage. Robert Plant is the greatest front man, not only for his vocals, but his stage confidence. I love when he talks to the fans, & jokes about Bonham & Page. Page actually formed the band, thankfully his first choice for lead singer had other obligations. Page had to finish out a few shows from The Yardbirds, & found Plant & his friend Bonham, & got his friend Jones. They played several concerts at the end of (1968), came home & recorded & Page edited etc. all in about 36 hours. The first great album came out In January of (1969), their second which was recorded on the road playing concerts came out in October of (1969). So they rocked the world from, the end of (1969 until September of 1980), when sadly John Bonham passed away. The band knew there was no replacing him, as was the plan if any of them left the band etc.

BEST BAND EVER!!! YAY!!! Ha been in mad luv with **MyBeautifulJimmyPageGeniusMagicalWizardBabe** & course **MyBelovedLedZeppelin** since i was 8 yrs old so yea i can tell ya for sure that ya do NOT need substances to go into a **Trance** where time & space disappears & ya are in another dimension realm place when listening to them & course other stuff like the makin your heart race etc songs they are otherworldly they are magical just like **Pink Floyd** got into them both at the same time & both have consistently beedn the ONLY two bands to mke me feel all those dif feelings & emotions its wild & it to me has to just be **PureMagic** & course **Genius** & **Wizardry** YAY hope ya will do some more of them in the future! YAY **RockON!!!**

Can you try and imagine being 17 years old in 1970 in Manchester UK - hearing for the first time led zep, Pink Floyd, genesis, deep purple and many more. There were no computers, no internet (social media) and so call smartphones - just the landline phone. There was a musical explosion in the UK around this time and I thought it was normal cos I did not know any better. I was heavy metal wearing the obligatory afghan coat and desert boots, and being a teenager I had such feeling and pension for the music - It was a type of religion. I remember the school career officer telling me ‘being stoned and stupid was not a good career option’, I told him ‘ yes, you are correct but it will do for now!’ Something for the weekend sir, try: Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb - pulse concert performance 1994. It has the best guitar solo ever, not just my option - if it makes you emotional and you want to cry that is ok, you are in good company. It also has a light show that is first contact stuff - WARNING Do Not Pause during Gilmour’s solo, Floydians will come and set fire to your channel !! This video started at the END of the song…..I’ve never seen that. What you heard at the beginning was actually the END of their “song within a song” ….they did a “boogie” within Whole Lotta Love.

That sucks you did the chopped up version! You.Need to do the whole version! You missed a lot of awesome parts like Jimmy Pages guitar solo and Thurman effects! And it's Jimmy Page the guitarist Robert plant vocals John Bonham drums John Paul Jones bass and keyboards and Robert plant said back door man could mean both how ever you want to interpreted it!

I am a bit confused. You started the song when it was more than half over? I suspect you fell victim to picking the wrong video on youtube. Ok, "the back door" thing. Yes, it is an old blues phrase meaning your woman's lover sneaks out the backdoor as you come home. Saying that, I was 10 in 1970 and I knew The Greek meaning. LOL. for "backdoor" was even then. Zeppelin was a highly sexual band. To think Robert Plant didn't know the Greek meaning as well would be a stretch. So in my opinion, he meant both meanings.

@@Kazilla.I just checked KZfaq. It appears that the full version has been removed. You can hear it audio only but not with video. Hate to say it, but the only full versions I saw were as reactions by other reactors. You should watch one of those. Just for yourself. It’s a great performance.
