i know these tutorials are over a decade old but thank you. it's sad to see how underrated Mike Barson is as a pianist, to the extent that there's only one person doing tutorials of his work on youtube

Thank you. My 4 year old son has found madness by way of Prince buster and this is his current favourite. He wants to learn it, so I do too! This will be invaluable

Good tutorial. I remember at school this was one of your first tunes you worked on in 1983/4. You taught J.H. this and when the deputy head saw him he was really surprised and praised him. J.H. said "yes I worked this out myself". You were nonplussed.

+virtuafighter3 Ha ha yeah JH......dishonest little shit. Good memory you`ve got there Dr.E. I remember that too, but JH could never play the left hand & right hand bit together on the introduction to this tune. I was very nonplussed. I dont know why this tutorial has got a few dislikes though?

Every tab or tutorial on the web for a modern version of a classical tune that isn't note for note the original gets dislikes, don't take it personally!

Fantastic Tutorial. Working through it now, so easy to hear my mistakes as the video is 100 % accurate. Lee , Please, please, please can you do a tutorial of max romeos " wet dream ". Just can't find any sheet music for it, and you are my "Ska God"

well bugger me i always played this in C! live and learn!! nice vid lee. makes me want to do some more myself but like you say why should we give away our hard earned secrets!
