I am 44 and I know what ya mean we were a blessed generation yes technology has many advantages such as this medium of being able to watch and listen to music videos from years ago if had to trade one I would not have mobile phones and keep the internet, but glad neither existed in the 80s

I'm a 80's baby and here I sit at 41 year's old singing this to my baby as he falls asleep in my arms. All my babies were raised listening to 80's music. My oldest is 25 and she still loves Madonna, Heart, and Journey. Now in 2023 my 8 month loves it just as much. It hurts my soul when I think of all the good Musicians we've lost along the way.

In 1992 I dedicated this song to my girlfriend cause I was so crazy in love for her. Till this day we are still together married with two grown kids She is still beautiful as as She was young. This song brings back memories that seems like yesterday & will never fade away. Thank you baby for sticking with me I’m so lucky to be with you!

2024? I wasn't around in the 80s but Madonna was incredible back then, I listen to all her music. The opening 30 seconds of this song gives me goosebumps. The music is incredible in this video. In the 80s, the likes of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks, Laura Branigan and Pat Benatar etc I could go on, these women were just incredible in this time period.

This is probably Madonna's best song. Well written with a great hook. Her singing here is top notch and proves she wasn't just a dancer who made it big on her looks and videos. The gated reverb drums, synth and production is so signature 80's pop

Personally this is the only Madonna song I ever liked because it's a ballad and I LOVE a good ballad. I'm not a big Pop fan. My favourite ballads are AOR/Melodic/ Soft Rock ones eg Journey, Survivor, Air Supply , Chicago, Reo Speedwagon and Styx.

@@shannonroberts213 AOR stands for Adult Orientated Rock. Examples of AOR bands are Journey, Foreigner and Survivor. It has a distinctive 80s hard rock sound although there are new AOR bands that still have the same sound as 80s AOR eg Pride Of Lions which was founded by Survivor original member Jim Peterik.

I was watching a documentary one night….and the narrator said “no matter what era of music you grew up in, and how many songs you listened to along the way, the music from your teenage years,those songs will always remain close to the heart as they have the fondest and deepest memories attached to them”. I would extend that up until age 25, or whenever one gets married. I'm so lucky because my parents were both music lovers, so I was quite precocious when it came to listening to pop music. My love affair with popular music started when I was 8, when I went out to my aunt's house and heard my cousins playing records by some group called The Beatles.....so I've got that sort of feeling for the music released between 1964-1981 or so. (I was the only kid in my 6th grade class who knew who the Mamas and Papas and The Rascals (well, Young Rascals then) were.)

Yes very true but we did have MTV then.That's where we all watched the stories in sight & sound. I worked at a bar & we would have MTV on the tavern big screen ( when sports wasn't scheduled ) . Our little ,mouthy Madonna didn't do to bad $$$$. It was a new era.

I used to fall asleep to this song in the 80s when the local radio station played it every night at the same time. I can't believe I'm watching the video for the first time 37 years later. After getting married and raising 3 kids since I wonder where the hell did all those years go. Happy times......that definitely pass too quickly.

Madonna was one of my favorite artists and I had a girlfriend in the 80s who was the spitting image of Madonna. I love Madonna she had such awesome songs when I was growing up in the 80s. Time is flying by, it is scary but when I hear her songs, it takes straight back to the good old 80s.

Madonna was my best friend's favorite person of All-Time.... My best friend, Renée Lynn Stuart was born July 20, 1974, and tragically passed away on March 12, 1993 in a car accident, at the age of 18..... I was a pallbearer at her funeral.... I dedicate this song every year on her birthday, to her, and tell her how much I still miss her.... She would have been 47 today..... 😓😓😓😓 RIP Renée Lynn Stuart 1974-1993....😓😓😓❤❤❤

My brother passed away on July 1, 2019 and he was the biggest Madonna fan. We made his funeral Madonna-themed and had his favorite songs on a playlist. "Crazy for You" was the final song we played because it was the song he would have wanted to play at his wedding. 🥺 My family and I are grateful that we can feel connected to him whenever we listen to her (which is all the time). ❤️

A zillion yrs ago in 85, I was at the club & a cute boy in a cowboy hat on crutches was leaning against the wall. I asked him to dance & he hobbled to the dance floor with me. This song personifies that night & how I felt. It didn’t work out in the end but that cowboy was the love of my life. Doc still misses you, Michael.

One of my favourite Madonna songs. I’ll always have a soft spot for 80’s Madonna. Her 80’s and 90’s work was pretty special. She had some amazing collaborators and wrote alongside some amazing songwriters and composers. It’s a shame she never gets the proper credit for her artistry. Her body of work is formidable and so broad in its range.

I was 9 yrs old when this song came out. My sister was 4 yrs older than me and a huge Madonna fan. She would play this in her bedroom loud on record. Just listening to it now teleported me to that time period as a child in the 80's. It's now 2022 and I'm 46 yrs old. Oh the nostalgia. Thanks for reading ✌️
