I saw this live in NYC, and OMG… The whole stadium was at awe for this moment. It was so beautiful and intimate. I am only here now because I am seeing someone that makes me feel this way, and I love this version of this song in a way I never imagined realized I could before. It’s perfect!!!!

She makes it look easy. It's not lol. Seriously though, this is just pure class; a real feast for the eyes and ears. And the way everything comes together so perfectly; the track, the costumes, the choreo, the lighting... It takes a person like Madonna, with a clear, singular vision, to bring several people together who are brilliant in their own fields, and have the elements form so cohesively to create a sonic & visual masterpiece. Bravo to all the artists involved, this is truly timeless and I will never tire of it. Special shoutout to Stuart Price for producing this stellar remix. Could have been a hit single in its own right; still sounds fresh some 20 years later.

I saw the confessions tour 3 times. Twice at Madison Square garden here in NYC. When she performed this I kid you not ...the WHOLE crowd was quiet and just watching in awe at each performance. After she was done there was this thunderous applause....it was gripping. When the DVD came out. This was the first performance I wanted to watch.

The audacity to do something this beautiful, soulful and simple in the middle of a pop concert. The pared down stage and minimal, intimate lighting. Amazing. I remember I couldn’t stop thinking about this number after I left the show. Arguably the simplest number in the entire show but just breathtaking. ❤️

I've watched and listened to this performance since it came out in 2006 and it STILL takes my breath away. The choreography is intimate, elegant, tells a story and is beautifully executed. The minimal lighting and visual effects set the perfect mood. The outfit reveal. Her beauty, her voice. This is as close pop will get to performance art and she did it 23 years into her career. I could write about this tour for hours.

She has acknowledged her entire career that she's a dancer/performer before a singer. She moved to NYC to pursue her dream as a dancer but somehow it happened she was offered to become a singer, and I would change nothing of that. I love her 😍😍😍😍

There's something so ethereal and sensual in the mix between the music and dance routines of this performance and the fact that it's a version of an 'underrated', yet controversial song like Erotica (brought back after years of not performing it) mixed with an unreleased track of the same album is just breathtaking. We don't even have to mention her stage prescence. Is there still a doubt that she's THE queen?

I remember when the “Erotic, erotic, put your hands all over my body” started and everyone went crazy and then the “You Thrill Me” part started and everyone just watched in a trance. Such a captivating performance. The beat, the lighting, the choreography, the lyrics. Disco lust heaven!

I got goosebumps reading you and reliving that moment. I was 18 when i saw her for the first time in Rome. I traveled from Spain all by own. I dont know how i managed to stay nearly in the front row. For me it was like a religious experience ❤❤❤

Well said. "The whole.. "you thrill me.." part of the song was new to me, and it just transforms the song into heartbreaking melancholy and yearning. It still does. I had broken up with someone but we still had feelings for each other when I heard this beautifully complicated version.To me it has a sadness that mirrored my feelings at the time. She's such a great artist.

This performance was so ethereal and beautiful. The whole Confessions Tour was brilliant. There are very few performers who have the artistic vision that she does. To do this at that point in her long career was truly amazing.

I remember when this tour was in LA, someone uploaded the whole concert in mp3. And i remember when i first heard this version of Erotica, it was something i cant explain with words, i almost came to tears, it was sublime. It is strange how music and art in general works in ones head, but when i heard this, that was the moment i decided to come out, it was the beauty of this that pushed me to think ''fuck everything'' i wont hide that im gay anymore. I have to say that here in Chile back in the 90s when Erotica came out, the rejection against being gay was terrible, i was 17 years old, and Madonna was like a voice, the only out there, telling you It was ok to be different, i think i can honestly say her music literally saved my life. When everyone at college rejected me, when it seemed the whole world was against you for being gay, there she was, with her music, telling you ''love yourself''.

Two things. When I heard this tour for the first time in CD I had to stop any other thing I was doing because it was so magical to experience her old songs with a whole new concept and sound. I used to be inspired by many superheroes as a kid, and also by Madonna and I remember many people laughed at me because of that, and I was like, why? Same as them M is so powerful and well-known for that, and the best thing is that she's real.

I have watched this once or twice a week for 3 years. Its such a masterpiece!!!! This version along with the dance moves… WOW….. SHE WAS AT HER PEAK ON THIS TOUR…. Simply AMAZING…❤ I have tickets to see her this summer for the first time ever!!…..So excited..! :)

I have to say, this is a f'ing beautiful mix of the song. The lyrics in the bridge are so deep "you are who you are, and I wouldn't change a thing". The way she delivers those words unlocks some crazy feelings! This is the the thing about Madonna and her singing voice - for what she lacks in range and technical skill, she makes up for in passion and emotional depth. And that's why her vocal abilities are massively underrated, as are her songwriting skills. The melody is beautiful and she doesn't get enough credit for her musicality. As for the physical perfomance, that itself is art, to do something so intimate with beautiful choreography at a stadium show is unreal. What a talent she is...
