Totally feel ya. It's become my second fave Madonna song of all time (behind Borderline). Makes me sad it wasn't on Bedtime Stories!

I was born in 1983 when no one knew what to think of this woman. I’ll remember...the way that she saved me. She was everything to me when I was young and older, too. I’ll remember... the way that she changed me. Whether you love Madonna or not: she’s had some impact on you. 💙✌🏼

❤ my favourite version i was listening to this song when the police knocked on my door in 2004 to tell me my dad was seriously ill in hospital sadly he passed away that day luv and miss u dad xx

Sounds more Ray Of Light-ish. I get why she departed R&B/pop-ish sound and got more into electronic/techno in the mid to late-90s.

Shifting popularity too. Though still immensely popular, she wasn’t well liked at this point. She looked to Europe and the musical trends here. Techno electronica. She softened her image with songs like this, evita and then came her rebirth with ray of light 😊

I agree. The weirder thing is that I hear the difference more for the first time listening to it on my phone than I ever have on the CD! I do love the Guerilla Beach mix, that one did deviate more.

Lazy William Orbit Remix, Lazy as it is the album version with just a new beat added. it is basically an edited Guerrilla Beach Mix (which wasn't good to begin with) maybe if Madonna's label had put more effort into the remixes this song might have hit #1 in the US

I do like the mix, i just hate that the only remix was nothing more than a radio edit under 5 minutes. In that respect it was Lazy indeed.

TarantulaCandy it’s not a new beat, they just simplified the album version and took out some of the over cooked symbols and synths.
