What’s so special about this performance is that it was the first time performing Like a Prayer in years, since the Blond Ambition. This was one year before the Re-invention tour, which brought it back, and made it more regular since then; almost on every tour; with the exception of Confessions only.

To know at this point she hadn’t done this song in over a decade and to do it like this is astounding. It’s almost as if she forgot about it. Now it’s a staple in her shows.

Singing this at 1am with Madonna was such a magical experience. The Madame X Tour feels like a continuation of the American Life era in many ways. So having this be the 2nd to last song at her show after such an incredible show of so many great messages was a perfect touch

I got to see this live, it was at the MTV studios in Times Square, back when Tower Records was across the street....the spirit in that room was amazing..I still have pics of it

LAP will always occupy a special place every time she performs it live-on tours and benefit concerts. It’s her calling card to inspiring and elevating people’s thoughts to spirituality and social issues she and civil rights activists care about that she tackled in the original mv of LAP in 1989. She’s as fierce, political and artistic today as when she started her career in the 80s.

OMG. Her voice in this performance is amazing... If you compare it to her voice during the Live 8, Hope For Haiti Now, the re-invention tour and the MDNA this is more high and clean. It's strange and incredibly good!!

Christina P i Had the chance to see her 2 Times at London and Paris during this promotion tour In 2003 and it was not autotuned sometimes she was flat and out of breath so it was 100 % live
