@@riograndeh88 Madonna isn't one of the "best female artists all of the time", lol. She is one of the best Selling artists of all time. Her sex doesn't have anything to do with that fact. (I should know, I own most of her albums on cassette AND cd, and my favorite Mdna songs on a playlist that is PUBLIC on my channel.) But this isn't the Madonna I grew up with; the Madonna with whom I grew up stopped doing these childish things and put her clothes back on in the 2000s, same as Prince and Tina Turner. If the Queen of Rock can act like a civilized human after decades of being beaten by Ike Turner, why is it "hating" to ask the Queen of Pop to do the same??

I'm just tired of interviewers like Jimmy just sitting there fawning over Madonna and allowing her to control the interview. One of the best interviews with Madonna was done by (the late) Terry Wogan for the BBC. It worked because he wasn't unnerved or intimidated by her and his style of interviewing actually made her interesting to listen to. This, with Jimmy's over excitement and flaying about and Madonna resorting to the usual (tired) shock tactics was just 12 odd minutes of nothing.

So true. Fallon has some talent, but interviewing is not part of that. I rarely watch these late night talk shows because they're so superficial and cheesy most of the time with lame, softball questions and guests with no gravitas. Madonna just comes across as self-indulgent and self-centered in a really annoying way, here trying to put on a little "shock" of the audience out of childish desire to be naughty.

There was a time when she knew how to change her image and reinvent herself, in the PAST tense. Once she hit 50 and saw younger competition, I believe something broke in her. She stopped being her usual trend-setter self, and caved to the pressure of youth. She became a beauty sellout (filter apps, facial fillers, mouth grillz(!)), something I'd never associate her with. It's sad to watch her these days, chasing youth and the person she once was. The entertainment industry is cruel enough to women over 40, but her place of influence/spotlight is not what it once was: we now have Beyonce, Adele, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, and others who are in their career glory. She will always be the Queen of Pop, and her fanbase of age 35+ people is locked in. But unless she starts putting out truly good music like she used to, she will continue to rest on her laurels as an "oldies act": she had a really good run, and that is enough.

I don’t mean to judge but it almost explains some of her behavior.. or all of it. When I was on opiates, it removed any and all inhibitions I had. That and a whole bunch of other problems it brings. If that’s the case, I pray for her sobriety.

She must have gotten a treatment recently. She always looks puffier right after and then it settles down. Same thing happens to some people I know, it's just how it works and the cycle of it. I like it better when it settles down too.

Maddonna isn’t by any means the first artist to play smaller venues than usual for different artists values. Neither is she the first artist to play smaller venues and play it off as something else in an attempt to disguise it as falling popularity and fading relevance. Come to think of it I can’t think of one thing that Madonna has done first. Nice try jimmy.

She still sells albums and makes money like there is no tomorrow. Why to act like everybody else. She is allowed to act the way she wants. It is her life. I don't understand why people are so mean? let her live her life. There is a reason why they still invite her everywhere! Cause she earned it!!! People who say once you reach certain age you have to STOP!. WHY SHOULD SHE!!??.

Her age isn’t the issue. That was just weird. And James Baldwin is a profound writer. That she read his novels and thinks that disturbing the peace as an artist is humping a desk, is ridiculous. Also, the ass kissing of Fallon and arrogance of this star is unbearable.

@@46foryounger i understand your point of view. But the art she puts out is what she feels. Thats what art is all about. Follow your emotions and put in on a paper or in act or whatever form.
