Yes, If we manage to avoid looking at the poor bull dying, especially at the end. Maybe if Hispanics had actually been able to win a real war against the white "gringos" at any time in the last 400+ years, they wouldn't have to take it out on the poor bulls. Most people know Madonna as a dance artist, but she doesn't get nearly enough credit for creating some of the most beautiful and iconic ballads of the 20th AND 21st centuries. This song and video are a perfect example. Madonna is responsible for the way "Take a Bow" turned out. She cowrote and coproduced it, and the beautiful, Asian-inspired orchestrations were HER idea, not his. Babyface had never worked with a live orchestra prior to the production of this song.

I’m currently 17 who’s just barely getting into Madonna’s work and I have to say that this song is truly amazing. It makes me feel nostalgic for a time I wasn’t born in. I only wish I was born sooner to experience the music that came out during this time. This song has been stuck on repeat and now has become my favorite Madonna song of all time.

It was already written by him before madonna came along and had it laying around in his studio. He couldn't get anyone to sing it or didn't know who to give it to, then Madonna picked it up, brush it up, made it better with orchestral arrangement and viola.

Never knew Babyface was involved in this song until recently. Listening to it again after so many years, you could definitely hear him, but also that signature production sound of his earlier, nineties era smooth jams that made hit after hit.

Everyone is all about 80s Madonna but 90s Madonna IS REALLY her peak. This song is still her biggest hit single in the US, spending 7 weeks at #1 in 1995. Babyface and his background vocals are excellent as well. 90s Madonna rules, she was so versatile and commanding that decade. She had her best videos, albums and tours that decade and every new album she released in the 90s it seemed she was tackling a new music genre. I mean she started the 90s Voguing and ended the 90s by releasing Ray of Light and being all spiritual and mystical. Such a change

it probably has samples from a Japanese classic, the melody of the chorus sounded like a Japanese karaoke classic. Madonna is not Copying. She is just Paying Tribute to Japan and Buddhism! Take A Bow is buddhism vs. her Catholic roots. The Video is about Spain and the Virgin of Guadalupe. But Take A Bow is about Buddhist teachings.

bruh my mom was literally in the studio while madonna recorded this, Music Grinder studios madonna kept getting calls and my mom told her every time when someone was calling. she got an autograph ("to angela love, madonna") and still has the sheet of lyrics madonna was reading off of for the recording (madonna had cut and taped the lyrics together) I just think that's so cool.

I would have fainted! I am 47 years old, and was in college when this song and album came out. I worked at a record store during college, and I played this CD from beginning to end during my shifts! I loved Madonna ever since her debut album, and bought every single album she released, until "Music," and then she just started losing her touch. But, if I was in the same studio as her when she was recording this album, I would totally be stalking her, waiting to ask for an autograph and picture with her!

Ghosttown or those videos in 2019 could not be compared to Take A Bow, the artistry here is phenomenal. Even the production price is not comparable, record companies simply don’t invest in music videos nowadays. Not to mention Madonna is no longer the current top 10 selling artists. Resources won’t be allocated to her.
