i love Madonna and i love lady Lady Gaga - i hate fan wars

No matter what people say about Lady Gaga and her, or who they prefer, Madonna was very professional here in her answer. She could have used this as a chance to shit on Gaga, but was very cool about it. I'm totally much more of a Gaga fan, but respect to Madonna for this.

I don't get the current trend of bashing Madonna, her age, and her looks. Today's early 50's is the new 40, and besides that .. she looks incredible.

Can we just stop the war between gaga and madonna...these artists are one of the best we ever had and will ever had these two changed the pop game and the world...They spread love empowerment..and peace...Just spread love because these two artist just really want everyone to love eachother and be kind to eachother why can't we do that??

Where is this Madonna? I miss the Madonna supporting Lady Gaga interviews and the Lady Gaga saying Madonna was one of her inspirations and both saying nice thing about each other. I feel like the media wouldn't let Madonna breath until she was tired of the whole Gaga talk. She has her OWN career and her own music to promote. They should have stopped and support her as well. Now Madonna and Lady Gaga don't get along anymore. A collaboration between them (Not only the SNL skit) would've been wonderful to hear. 2 talented and amazing artists working together but it will never happen due to the media, fans, hatred, and jealousy. Why can't we go back to how things were, where Madonna and Lady Gaga and both of their FANS would get along? The whole Madonna thing is pretty shitty, I hate when older artists complain about younger artists "copying" them especially when they've done the same. Madonna definitely borrowed and took inspiration from other artists like Blondie and shit like that. She's in no position to give Gaga shit. They're both talented and I enjoy them both, but I think some of Madonna's comments are really hypocritical. People are inspired by other people and as such there will probably be similarities that occur even subconsciously, that doesn't mean it was blatant copying, just get the fuck over it. The whole argument is what's really reductive.

I just saw GAGA's concert last week... She did a fabulous job in winning over 40,000 fans ... Got them screaming for encores.. I was quite impressed .. By the way.. I love Madonna too since i am close to her age and lived through her career.. I dont think much of her new album though.. But she stands out as one of the best artists in my oppinion.

Main thing for me it's that Madona isn't never said anything bad about gaga.
