@@candiceannette8146 Her voice doesn't have a long range but it's unique and with her own characteristics which we all identify at the first verses of each song. I used to think also that it was mainly her attitude but started to hear people listening to her and most saying (young people who didn't know her) that she has a singular voice , so it's about attitude + voice tone. Love her so much ❤

I have always loved her voice, specially when the raspy side surfaces. Great from the outset, before and after Evita and beyond. She has the ultimate versatile theatrical performance artist's voice. So many great performances and this is definitely one of the best.🤍💙❤🔥🔥🔥😘😘😘😘👆

This is part of what I call the "Vocal Nuances". She's never been known for her singing in general. But all of a sudden she has a live performance that requires vocal skills and she kills it.

I realize I’m amongst Madge fans here and I appreciate ya, but the stars of this clip, both visually and sonically, are the late Victor Bailey on bass and Omar Hakim on drums. They take what could have been a routine dance-pop cover and turn it into something nearly Pee-Funky.
