The intelligence and creativity of this piece of art astounds me. What I love about Madonna the most is that she's the World's most successful female artist, but yet, she's the under dog. Not scared of being different and standing up for people with no voice.

Im 24. Born in 2000. Madonna you are forever & by far my most adored, loved, & favorite artist! My generation just doesnt get how impactful you are. They ignorantly make fun of you for being old yet they dont realize that you have been fighting for the lgbt community before it was a popular trend to do so. We failed you. I rhink you're an alien sent here to raise the consciousness of the human race. Your advocacy for the people that are silenced & vilified is what has kept me alive. Long time ago in an interview when questioned about it, M answered that she didn't get the right recognition for the roads she paved, specially in the Erotica period. Erotica era with Sex book released only 2 days before the album release had an huge had a huge negative impact on the album sales & on fans devotion.

Because her intelligence is misunderstood. Most of society are plugged-in sheep, though no fault of their own; but they just follow the crowd WITHOUT question. Madonna has ALWAYS stood out on her own, and followed her OWN path. And she actually ENCOURAGES others, and brings out the BEST in people, and those around her, even if they don't actually recognise that at the time. I think that is actually her soul's journey for this planet; bringing out the BEST in those around her, and PUSHING them to reach their highest potentials. But most people probably misunderstood that in her presence. It will most likely only be much later on, that people will begin to understand what a positive impact Madonna had on their lives with regards to living their fullest potentials. I actually think that she is a very loving individual, and I am sure that eventually, in the future, she is going to be studied for YEARS, and talked about with regards to people living their BEST creative lives. She pushes those limits and those boundaries, for herself, and others. There are not that many people on this planet like that. I respect Madonna. She has earned her place in the history books.

I have been rewatching and rewatching this video numerous time since its release in 2013. I live in Russia, and and I’m a freedom fighter. I don’t know if I get out alive, when our regime is gone. Freedom of expression + human rights = perfect movie. I love it very much. The message in this movie is very clear, but the media doesn't even notice it at all. Madonna is my favorite artist and she excels in all forms of entertainment - tv, music and movies. I can't wait to see the new movie she's currently directing :-)

Today is actually the first time I watched this. I had seen clips of it a couple of years ago but I didn't think I wanted to see it, it looked so violent. Madonna is an amazing and inspiring person, where does she find these dancers??? She has been through so much herself, dragged through the mud. I myself do not understand why so many people love to hate her and say sooo many mean things about her. In a lot of ways, I relate to her, and I feel like, if I had to go through some of the shit she's been through, I'd be very angry and bitchy myself!!! Madonna is a survivor and in some ways, I am too. She gets nothing but love from me!!!

No matter how much you say Gaga has copied Madonna, Lady Gaga has had a huge handful of her own creative ideas. When she takes inspiration from Madonna, it's seen as copying. NO. In her mind, it's her artistic expression. She is taking inspiration from those who came before her (like Madonna did with Marilyn), and artistically crafting it into her own image! You know what's funny? If this video had been released last year, or today, it would make headlines and receive universal praise for being so pertinent and thought-provoking. But instead, when Madonna released this in late 2013, people outside the LGBT community totally dismissed it. They ignored it even when it was projected on the side of prominent buildings in big cities around the world, for millions to see. They thought, oh, that's just Madonna being a drama queen, trying to get some more album sales. Well, now the reality she warned us of has come out of the shadows and is slapping us all across the face each and every day. But how much credit does she receive for recognizing the trend and doing something meaningful to try to stop it? None, because people weren't paying attention until now, when it's too late.

For me Madonna is a real artist. Not because I like the music she releases and the videos she makes but because her work reflects society and culture. Art should show this and to me an artist who can see what is happening and portray it with their opinions. Madonna from the very beginning has saw this and has always shown it in her work and is a visionary artist. American Life, Erotica, Like a Prayer & this Secret project are perfect examples.

There’s dancing, singing, and acting in this project, there is ART, but where are the eyes and ears we need to revolutionize the world? I don’t know if she was ahead of her time for this project because as she said, she got involved in this because of all the things that she was noticing around the entire world, from Russia to Colombia, from the USA to South Africa. What I am sure of is that she shed a light into an issue that is beyond palpable TODAY. What is happening with OUR world? How do we get these injustices to stop? How do we get people to chant “FUCK LABELS”?

When I saw video for Dark Ballet this one came back to my mind... They are very similar although shes criticizing government here, while in Ballet its the church leaders. Both are real Masterpieces, she really breaks boundaries of literally everything, and yet apart from her pop music, she didn't get much attention for her activist work, simply because homophobia is still so high. she is my greatest idol for many years, although I never saw her live. And dancers that were featured here (from Mdna tour) are one of her hottest.... I like to say : I was straight, but Madonna cured me ;D

I wish more people saw this film because it is inspiring and contains many valid thoughts based on today's political/social climate. I am thankful to Madonna for creating this film that puts many of my thoughts and concerns into words and thought-provoking imagery. Madonna, thank you! I love and respect you, always.
