I've been riding EUC's for the last 4 years and for a long time I was really avoiding power pads, the truth is after a while riding with them you start getting more and more attached to them and you start thinking I really need to get some Clark Pads, or maybe some Begode power pads or even some Inmotion V11 power pads. Whatever is the EUC or Electric Unicycle that you are riding you start seeing that getting them brings an extra level of safety when riding.
I try already more than 6 different power pads EUC and all of them have benefits and disadvantages and what are my favourites?
If you want to know more about power pads stay toon until the end of this video because I will be explaining all of it.

Great review, the reason I ordered gen 3 clark pads is for the hooks for jumping, gest for pot holes in london and I will also use these for braking, I have found leaning back, squeezing up feet inwards and upwards greatly reduces speed wobbles. Lastly I won't have to readjust my feet because of the exact pad location, so faster take offs from the traffic lights. For me power pads are a must for any fast wheel.

@MADpack
@MADpack 2 жыл бұрын
I will say no.. I will never buy power pads to wheels that are going below 50kph in my opinion does make sense. Beside that kingsong always had wick inner shell so even if the 18xl is one of the best if not the best wheel they ever produce I will think to avoid to use. I feel that power pads are essencial to take out the end power of a wheel… if you manage to do your 43/44kph on your 18xl why you need them? Hope it makes sense :)

I diy pads for my MSP Torque with velcro and yoga blocks. I feel really secure, although a little to locked in. But I can always move the blocks around or change the shape. The Begode pads look interesting for my MSP. For my Sherman I tried the stock pads. But the Sherman is already to wide. So I don't use them. The pads you showed would not work for me on the Sherman. For my Sherman the pads need to be 5 mm thick in the middle.

Hey nice video! I’m wondering how do you adjust the pads for the best fit? Are you suppose to have some wiggle room or not for the front of your feet when using the pads?
@MADpack
@MADpack 2 жыл бұрын
That’s very personal. Per example me I don’t do jumps so important is to have the pads on the top for me to break and accelerate. I like to feel them tight order riders like to feel per example the breaks really on the back. Everyone is different that you need to discover for yourself. If you go and see my video about the grizzla pads that was the first pads that I could put it on the way that I want I like the back really high and the front low. Hope it helps you out

My small pads cost over $25 in materials and 10hrs per set to make. THIS is if nothing fails during manufacture. Theres also machine costs, maintenance and other losses. Sometimes it takes a bit of markup to recover costs and LOTS of sales to barely break even. Good luck on your new euc company. Be careful how you price them, as you may want to mark them up quite a bit to recover your costs, afford service/warranty, and pay other various taxes and liability insurances. DOnt forget about marketing and shipping costs. People don't work for free, so theres also labor costs and taxes/insurance for them as well.

@@shanesplanetshane3795 Here's one for you you've ever heard a close cell foam have them make ABS mold for you with a 3-D printer and after use close cell foam then wrap them in your choice of fabric using foam spray adhesive for foam and fabric. You can try to figure out the rest but you tell me 10 hour sounds Like a little too much The mold and the close cell phone should eliminate your cut time by a20th of the time . And I'm doing my wheel right now or I would say hell with it I'll stop and I'll do this to show you guys but I don't have time right now I'm even talking to Clark pads and integrating these into my wheels so I don't have to deal with it

I was not a fan of the 3d printed Clark pad for my 16x. 1. Clark pads are not very comfy. I was disappointed that they were not as squishy as I had hoped. 2. Clark pads are 3D printed. The print material is semi-squishy but harder than I thought. Also, the print quality was poor in my opinion. I sent them back immediately. I think it is better to learn to lean with your wheel, and build the muscle and get used to riding without “pads”, after my few weeks of riding everyday.

I give the clark pads a FAIL. They cost so much, and now they come with led pucks that are pure GARBAGE and can be defective right out of the box. And dangerous too because the defective one is causing the AAA battery to get hot in under a minute. "Oh yea I had an EUC fire. My Clark Pads ignited"..... 😆😆 For the price they cost, I dont find that acceptable. The pads are very nice. when I ordered they were only offering the ones with LED pucks inside. Not my choice.
