So late the party and completely random: Mads says that Hannibal has empathy and then says, "...our version," but I wanted to add that Thomas Harris' Hannibal also possesses empathy. In fact, his empathy is on the same level as Will Graham's. I've been surprised over the years how many fans of the novels never realized this fact about the character...though I kinda just chalk it up to most people not really being able to equate a character as monstrous as Hannibal as being capable of empathy, let alone having too many mirror neurons, so they don't really register the passages revealing Hannibal's empathy and capacity for compassion for what they are. Anyway, I just had the itch to point that out. I've said it a million times, Fuller brought two characters I fell in love with as a pre-teen in the 1980s to life (the films were a disappointment, though Gaspard Ulliel as young Hannibal was near perfection) and Mads will always be the definitive Hannibal Lecter as far as I'm concerned. *sniffles* I wish I was a billionaire...I'd completely fund a season 4-7. :(

Uhhhhh, the difference between Mads and Anthony’s Hannibal performance is like comparing apples to oranges!! Anthony played an excellent Hannibal. He was intriguing and fascinating, but I certainly wasn’t thinking about what he might look like underneath his clothes!! Mads on the other hand is not only intriguing and fascinating, but he also brought more depth to the character than any other actor playing Hannibal. And it doesn’t hurt that he is also extremely sexy!!!!!! Cheers

Sorry to say this but the first time I watch season 1 because I recently got intrigued in Hannibal series when I stumble on some "graphic novel" 😂 in ao3 about hannigram, My first thought was is this really the main char?? I mean he looks like greasy old man you would avoid if not wearing formal attire I'm really sorry for thinking about him the first time.. Until I came to love his face and his portrayal of the role is so good.. Hugh and he are very charismatic man and I just love their face especially Hugh, I was so hooked by his Will face.. 😂 glasses, introvert who loves dogs.. But I learn that Mads is also very handsome.. You know I cannot imagine some fans who are still hoping for a season 4 for so long and me who finished it not long ago and hoping for s4 and is very impatient and eager without hope if it will happen or not.. Can't believe their patience and how they're still into the series..

I never even watched Hannibal but a few episodes in the beginning not because I didn’t like it I just didn’t have the time..I have however seen a lot of his films especially the foreign ones and I love them ..someday I will watch Hannibal
