Concussions are no joke having had my last one at Knoxville Nationals in 2021 I tried to come back the next year but the headaches during and after were tough to focus on racing. Wish nothing but the best for Ian in whatever the future holds for him

I had a bad concussion the last time I wrecked a sprint car and that my sprint car career. I did go on to race late models after that.

That is very sad news for Speedway, but I 100% understand Ian for doing this. And I am sure that the Sydney Speedway debacle has had a fair bit to do with his decision as well. But the dark side Ian talks about is a real issue. That was part of the reason I walked away from doing interviews. It’s definitely a tough sport.
