Good lord. The last thing I expected from a Steve-O cameo was poignant social commentary about video game violence. This was quite literally one of the best Game Grumps episodes that I have seen in the past year.

Steve O teasing Dan about his “love life” kills me every time

I just want to point out that this episode, boiled down to it's core, is an interview while playing a video game. And Arin and Danny complemented each other perfectly for this format. Dan kept the conversation going, and kept the guest comfortable and on topic, while Arin made sure the gameplay kept going at a steady pace and interjected with jokes when we felt needed. These two have developed a great sense of timing and have gotten this format down to a science. I'm not a big Steve-O fan, but I really appreciate the good work the Grumps have put into this show.

I just love it when guest come on to the channel and some start off with a skepticism of playing video games and then absolutely turn into a child, its awesome. its what makes the laughter even more infectious because its like something jon said a long time ago its like when your kids and you have a toy that you just want to share with a friend.

I've gotta say, I rolled my eyes when I saw that Steve-O was on Game Grumps, but this was a really intelligent discussion that he brought up about violence. What's interesting to me is that he isn't condoning violence toward other people; like he's not out there having UFC wrestlers choking other people unconscious, it's mostly violence done toward himself, and everyone in it is consenting. He also of course brought up the great point that video games are not at all correlated to violent behaviors. I'm also glad that he's so up front about his addictions and I'm very glad to hear that he's clean now.

Man, this guy is so down-to-earth and funny. He's really awesome.

my psychology teacher told me violent games often prevent violence due to the stress releasing, animalistic, effect it has. It helps young teens and adults express anger through the actions of the character.

3:48 Actually, I picked up a girl one time in the mall because I was playing In The Groove (a harder, Americanized version of DDR) and it caught her eye. She paid for my next game to watch me play again, then I mentioned my friends were having a party across the street and I took her back with me. So yes, my proficiency in a video game got me laid.
