Greetings from Poteet Texas just What type of mine is that see a lot of slate and some black rock I don't no what it is.

Hello, this is the largest slate mine in the UK, primarily it produced roof slates known as Welsh slate here and used on many of the victorian houses. Welsh slates were explorted to Europe and America too.
