Maersk - Triple-E: Semi-launch timelapse

A major milestone was reached on 23 February 2013 with the semi-launch of the first Triple-E at the shipyard in Okpo, Korea.
In order to make room for completing the next ships, the drydock was filled with water and the partially completed hull towed into the bay.

Maersk if you have enough metal and paint try and make a ship larger than the seawise giant (maersk you don’t have to do it but it’s an idea)

Corea del Sur se cargó toda la industria de construcción naval civil de Europa vendiendo por debajo de coste. Haciendo dumping, ayudada por el GATT y por Estados Unidos. Así construyen sus barcos, así cualquiera.
