The definitive edition isn’t very different from the original Mafia 2. It has slight graphical improvements. It runs at 30 FPS. I’ve noticed a lot of frame drops on the PS4 Pro as you might notice in this video. People are saying other consoles aren’t doing it. Overall I’ve been enjoying replaying mafia 2.

Is there any reason why I should buy the definitive edition on ps4 if I already own the original on xbox 360? n.b. Because I don't have xbox live, only ps plus, I was never able to download the game's DLC. That's the only reason I can think of for getting it.

It's only worth it for the DLC. Because the dlc on PS3 and X360 was delisted. Basically runs the same but with graphical issues. I'd wait for a sale.

@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa An example being Leo's eyes* staring to the left facing him directly when talking to Vito in the beginning of the final chapter. Also the face warping with some characters in "Joe's Adventures". But it's 2k, so I'd doubt they'd actually patch this almost half a year after release.

@@kpjlflsknflksnflknsa well there’s definetly performance issues, even on my pc that can run this game on medium settings it stutters or some reason either when I’m going fast or turning corners. I’ve seen console gameplay and the fps looks bad it doesn’t even look 30
