The cutscene with Burke was really emotional and well made

Never like to kill Burke, the whole scene was emotional. If there's one good thing about ending Burke life is that he can now see his son again.

No regrets for eliminating voodoo lady. But when burke and vito had to go, i just restarted the whole game to keep them alive. Cause vito is the man and Burke was just a drunk mess looking to get revenge for loosing his son.

To me, Burke may have been a drunken, violent mobster who was an asshole to his own daughter and Lincoln, but damn his death cutscene was sad as all hell. Deep down, I think he still cared for her through his rough exterior. Also hot damn Lincoln looks good in that suit and hat. Really badass.

I didn't even know this was part of the game tbh I assigned everything equally and chose to rule together

I really feel bad for Burke and especially for poor Nicki, she ends up all alone.

Even after the intro cutscene, Nikki was heartbroken that Lincoln killed Burke. Who could blame her? No more family.

Burkes death was the only one that made me sad. And yes, I played mafia II first. I just didn’t really care about killing Vito much

Sadly, I think this might be Burkes best ending. He was a broken man, and depressed and down on his luck. There was no turning point for Burke, he's headed downhill no matter what the outcome is. This was, he at least gets to see his son again.

If I was Lincoln in real life, I wouldn't treat neither of them bad and would give each of them 3 districts, but definitely keep an eye on Cassandra and don't give her too much power, because she really be giving me these vibes that she's just a two-faced person and only works with me, because she knows she'll end up like the rest if she gon' mess with me. Tbh it would only make sense to kill her if anyone. You could say even without Mafia 2 and only from Lincolns perspective, that Vito is a very useful strong loyal ally and professional and even though it wasn't mentioned, they're also brothers in arms and after you saved him and worked with him as promised, there's no reason why you as Lincoln should see him as a potential threat and the same goes for Vito for the same reasons. Burke and Lincoln go probably way back, because Lincoln was friends with his son and is friends with his daughter, so Burke is like family, he's the only one who actually knows him. Cassandra is a bit off tho. She probably didn't lie about her past and might really have some internal struggles from her bad and sad experiences, which made her the way she is, but she still comes off as manipulative and this whole talk about black folks and ''brothering'' Lincoln feels sometimes like an act and more like an excuse or justification for her subtle greed for power, like as if it's more like a personal thing and not really all about the community as she's making or trying to make it look like it is and Lincoln must be feeling kinda the same and maybe he even has more thoughts and suspicions. So if anyone had to die, then it would be her and we see most of this being true in her ending, when she took over and had too much power, which like I said should not be giving to her. I gotta say man.. like any other story/game it has a little things here and there that don't make a lotta sense, but they sure as hell knew how to write these characters and did a well-written and somewhat poetic story

Not keeping them all alive is like Lincoln betraying their trust instead of them betraying him so to speak,I mean you have 6 districs in the game and all you have to do is to give them 2 each,it's not like you have to make a tough decision about who is a better underboss than the other or something,killing them when the choice to make them all alive is so easy it's very dirty,if you had to make a hard decision of choosing one to lead the whole city in the end and the other 2 turn on you would be a different story,2K lost a very good opportunity there imo.

I’m trying to keep one boss alive which is Vito. So I gave every district to Vito but somehow I wasn’t given the option to take out Burke before getting rid of Sal Marcano 😭😭 Looks like I’ll have to replay the game a 3rd time before I can get the platinum trophy for PS4

Burke is the one most patient of them all. After 2 districts not given, he's still cool but a bit agitated, 3 districts, last warning. Vito will get furious after not given two districts in a row, same as Cassandra.

Don't feel sorry for Burke, really, I mean I do in that he lost his wife and son and was dying but he was living his life in a way where he wasn't caring anymore. I feel bad for Nicki, what a thing to have to shoulder all alone

I feel like killing them is just flat out wrong I kept all them alive left town and Vito took over, I kinda feel like it was a Breyer ending no one hated me the hollow was repaired Burt had two districts same as Cassandra. In my mind joe is working for Leo as his driver and will one day meet up with his old pal Vito and perhaps one day they together will meet Lincoln 🤷‍♂️

Honesty Vito and Burke is the only people that matter for me in this game, Cassandra kind of is a 40/60 for me for some reason. Luckily I keep all of them alive

Cassandra sucked, Burke was a drunk limping badass, and Vito is the absolute GOAT. This game could’ve been amazing if it wasn’t so repetitive, the storyline was good the gameplay was solid and the addition of Vito coming back legit made me aroused. I have every district to Vito when I first played this game considering mafia II is one of my fav games of all time and had no issues killing Cassandra but killing Burke was kinda sad tbh, bottom line… this game was a wasted opportunity to have a great trilogy. I only hope we get a 4th one with Vito and joe reuniting
