They're not that good, remake graphics I mean. The cutscene animations are pretty bad and everything looks smeared as hell.

@Gamefield It has nothing to do with the original, the remake is crap. It has the same problems Mafia 3 had only now it also has some of Mafia 1's problems as well.

bro the 2002 version is absolute garbage. the realism dosent make it a better game. it makes it more annoying. the driving is awful, the gear shift mechanic is the dumbest thing on the planet, and even the gun mechanics are dumb. plus the voice acting is just bad.

@@modder1975 bro try playing it now adays. they 100%focused on realism and almost nothing on gameplay. i dont care if its "realistic" or "ahead of its time" theh should have made the cars more useable instead of adding neutral gear for some reason or making cops pull you over every 10 seconds because "driving too fast is fun and you arent allowed to have fun in this game"

MAFIA 1 - the first one - is the best game i've ever played and none game can change it. MAFIA original is much better than the remake. No matter how much they did their work, the remake can't be better. Mafia the City of Lost Heaven is just classic, the music, climat presents this game rather as a movie, meanwhile the remake is like a cartoon for kids.

Yeah the remake is amazing but og is still better aspecially for its time, honestly almost nothing can really match mafia 1 and 2 so thats like saying "haha you didnt beat every dark souls game in 1 att only using your toes what a loser"

the Definitive edition is not real Mafia, its just remake, it will never be Mafia, it cant be. The real mafia, the original is unicate, there wont be game like this... The remake looks just like comix , the real mafia is like real movie, I feel emotions while playing real Mafia, the music and climat make my heart beat so fast and strongly. There wont be better game ever, no mafia 2 no mafia 3 no mafia remake. The Mafia is one, there wont be more like this. Tommy Angelo oryginal is 1 , in the original Mafia. The remake shows us no Tommy Angelo (its just a different person).

Not putting animations for a gas station is just lazy. Mafia 1 and 2 had iy, but Hangar just said "Meh" for RE.

The remake is good as a game on its own. It really is! But in comparison to the original, I don't understand why they are so lazy to incorporate all the things which were in the original 20 years ago... And the pumping music while in battle... The original Mafia was all about the atmosphere and the slow pace. Not about killing as many gangsters as you can. How they don't understand that the serene feeling the Mafia 1 gave us was the selling point of the original. Not the fast-paced music and macho gangster bullshit.

Как же это ТУПО. Окей, вы убрали возможность убить важного персонажа и провалить этим миссию. Но почему тогда осталась возможность стрелять по персонажу? Полно же игрушек, где попросту NPC нельзя атаковать... Касаемо же остального окей, в определенных вещах острой необходимости нет. Я считаю важными оставлять детали, которые кроме внешнего вида как-то влияют на геймплей. Но момент с заправкой откровенно провальный. Зачем было его "частично" оставлять? Лучше бы даже не морочались, чем подавать в таком виде.
