Here is the "Mafia Queens of Mumbai" trailer. Sorry for letting y'all wait but this is the first time I've ever cut a gangster filmtrailer or a crime film, so it was quite a new experience for me.
I've read the book online and it took me a bit to find matching scenes. For example: Jenabai was the most famous gangster queen, she started with illegal liquor business and she was good friends with Dawood Ibrahim. I couldn't find a single scene where someone in a Bollywood film is busy with a liquor business, lol. Another example, Asha Gawli had her gambling and dance bars business. Couldn't find gambling-scenes.
Hussain Zaidi wrote about more than 10 women in his book but I only chose 5 for the trailer. Those who have read the book will HOPEFULLY understand the trailer, the characters and their actions / dialogues.
Jenabai, Gangubai, Ashraf Khan, Monica Bedi, Asha Gawli are the 5 women I chose.
In case you couldn't understand the Ashraf Khan character. Her husband was murdered by Dawood Ibrahim, so her mission was to shoot him dead. One day she was dressed in a Burka and asked Hussain, another gangster, to teach her self-defense and stuff.
