He could've survived the pellets pieces from the Sawed-off shotgun, even after that tragic cutscene in Mafia 2... just imagine the ambulance removing the pieces from him... the human body can heal very fast you know.

Best comment, seriously modern games ain't worth shit. They just keep getting worse (most of them). Mainly because the creators are not that passionate, creative, and hard-working as they used to be earlier. All they see now is money by copying styles of other trending games instead of making something revolutionary themselves.

Even with its flaws this game was so atmospheric, with an incredible storytelling that you'd just have to finish it from beginning to end. Then again, we are spoiled nowadays with all the options ingame that an experience like this is not likely to return anytime soon.

@@Just_another_Euro_dude Yeah the racing mission was so "hard". I can beat it in a couple of tries with Extreme difficulty, it was not a problem for me even back when I first played it and besides YOU CAN SKIP IT... I even have a video if you don t believe me. It is going to be posted in a seperate reply since KZfaq likes deleting comments with links, if you don t see the reply with the link, KZfaq deleted it...

I played this game as a little kid. Everytime I went to my uncle I played freemode. I was around 5 that time. Then in 3rd grade I downloaded it on my PC and discovered the story mode. I will remember this song until last day in my life and if this will not play on my funeral I don't know what will.

Да эта игруха учит быть сильным, правильным и выживать, как нужно, и показывает хоть чуточку, насколько наш мир жестокий и поганый, какие все люди злые вокруг. Давайте хоть те кто прочитает, сделаем добро, мелочь. Проходя мимо бездомного, лишний раз дадим ту копейку ему на еду?

Played this game 15 years ago. Mafia 1 is the simpy the best of many many games which i have played. Best story, best gameplay best music. Thanks for the musics. I miss my childhood so much :(

Wow Nostalgia and the overall feeling the music and story give to the viewer is timeless and a Classic. Love to hear about the Remake recently. This Story is Something games can't replicate even today.I am glad I grew up to this Beautiful Masterpiece and the Chills it still sends up my spine for almost 18 years now is still there.

Sam's death scene in the original was better than in the remake. The remake was good as well, but some cut scenes in the original (as well as the voice-acting in the original) are still amazing.

Well yeah the original composer is hardly reachable at all and they wouldn’t have old compressed music to go with a remake that has different scenarios and music that was made to fit that experience more
