Jonathan McCollough and Ellie Dix hard launched their relationship during the Married At First Sight 2024 Reunion. Lauren Dunn was surprised and when she questioned the new MAFS couple, was called something nasty by Jono's new girlfriend. But it didn't end there - Jono then deflected by telling Sara Mesa about a secret conversation he had with Tim Calwell.

I don’t blame him. Him and Lauren were never a good match to start with , it’s like they purposely put the worst people together . Lauren didn’t like him in that kind of way anyway from the start .

@@highonsugar6273 honestly I think he tried so hard , Lauren was difficult from the start . She showed she wasn’t interested and found him too nice. They were never a good match . I feel she liked him out of necessity or she learned to like him

Ellie and Jono acted like nice people until their inner monsters were revealed! Remember Ellie ONCE A CHEATER (AND LIAR!) ,ALWAYS A CHEATER-are you really naive enough to think he won't do the same to you one day?? The way you purposely rubbed it into Lauren's face at the reunion meal was disgusting behaviour and that is what turned the world against you as your true colours were revealed. You two belong together. If you ever have kids you can show them MAFS and teach them how not to behave and how their parents have no moral compass. There is no happy ever after when couples are like you because as long as you agree and get on it will be fine but when couples like you start falling out .....oh boy oh boy I just hope it happens before any kids come into the picture because this relationship will turn very nasty one day-Ellie you have been warned!!

Yeah its very sad this is ended this way. Very very inconsiderate from Jonno and Ellie. They deserve each other. They should have both talked to Lauren and apologised to her. They both seemed so genuine and nice at the start of the show. I am glad their true colours came out. #justiceforlauren

I'm so going to miss this particular mob of stroppy Aussie's verbally ripping chunks out of each other now the series has ended. Beyond all the venom and wild eyed glares there was some really moving moments and I think it would be great if some of the standout characters could get some more TV. I could never have seen Myself enjoying a series like that but some of personalities had Me gripped. Top stuff!

It's interesting the two most dramatic relationships have included Sara and Lauren - the two alpha, aggressive take-no responsibility females. Moreso, both their male partners are/were nice, chilled gentlemen towards their partners until they were eventually worn down. Are we really surprised Jono went with Ellie? And Tim had reservations at his vows? It's time society stopped the feminism & equality empowerment narrative like it doesn't have consequences. The masculine and feminine energies are not equal & pretending they are results in emasculation and eventual conflict.
