especially w what u said in final thoughts!! i felt the EXACT same way about this album and still do but the videos really really took it there for me. those two specifically made me understand so much more about the album and twigs as a whole. they’re super special u def gotta check ‘em out 🫶🏼

I think this is her hardest album to get into, if you've heard one of her other projects beforehand. This is the first album I heard from her, so that's why it's got a special place in my heart, but it is vastly different from her other projects. I'm sure you'd love LP1!

Personally, i also like caprisongs more than this album but lp1 has some of my favorites from her Her debut is the most experimental till date but its also dark, seductive and just fills you with that sexy groovy drugged mood

very valid points. this album took me a couple listens to understand it and the art behind it, but its grown to be my favorite work from hers. personally didn’t really like the collab w Future on this album but otherwise completely loved it

so glad u could appreciate this album !!! def hard to take in all this emotion. i suggest you react to charli xcx's "crash" if u haven't heard it yet! it's a pop MASTERPIECE of an album, it has a little bit of everything sonically; the upbeat hype bangers to more chill ballads to 80s inspired hyperpop realness etc etc, i think you would really like it (plus.. she's a LEO queen !).

@@SulySolano crash is good but her best are the pop 2 mixtape and her charli and how I'm feeling now albums Crash is how charli xcx herself puts it "her sellout era" I think pop 2 is a better place to start with charli since it has the bangers on it but also the signature futuristic charli sound as well

I know this video's old but I wanted to say I fully understand you not liking the album! I love the album but it's so niche and artsy-fartsy, and especially coming off of Caprisongs, I can see why Magdelene would be a very jarring switch-up. I would love to see you react to LP1 at some point! It's very experimental but more pop-like than Magdelene, I'd almost say it's kinda the middle point between Caprisongs and Magdelene.

I like your reaction but I'd like to point out something, you said that she grew her music from Magdalene to Caprisongs... actually that is not entirely true, she can do both actually but Caprisongs vibe is not in direction of her music and arts. That's why Caprisongs is a mixtape not an album. For her, an album portrays her music and arts, like LP1 and Magdelene :)

It annoys me so much when people like you cut the end off of home with you. It’s such an impactful moment. The whole song focuses on his feelings and she finally reveals her own at the end
