The one place that we always went to when I was a child was York. We used to stop at a caravan site in a little village called Acaster Malbis on the outskirts of York. Our family used to all have touring caravans so we'd all go to York at Easter then me and my parents would have the odd week and weekend there through the rest of the year. Then during the summer holidays we'd have a week at other places like Bournemouth, Scarborough, or Cromer. But everytime I go to York there's always lots of memories for me.

Hi Dara, When did Britain really click with you, was there a specific day, or occasion that really set your heart? Could you do a video that reminisces about a few really special days, or occasions from your experiences over these years. Hiya! I'll give you a couple answers to your questions... - When I became an Anglophile: Watch our Wedding Anniversary video to get an answer to that. It's toward the beginning. Kind of too long a thing to answer in a comment ;-) Here's the link: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ppd0dbGhzsqXoas.html - Britain is definitely a small country with SO MUCH amazing stuff packed into it! And a diversity of nature and topography and architecture. That is why we have to spend every summer here, because we have such a lengthy list of all the places we want to visit! - If we could take one bit back... too hard of a question! The Cotswolds is my favourite, which is why I did a whole series on that area... and why we bought our flat here. But we love so many other areas as well! We are going to do a livestream Q&A session from our flat one of these days, hopefully Saturday 16 July. We would like to answer everyone's questions then and have a nice natter! Have a great week. Haha, that's great! The major airports, as far as I know, in the UK are London and Manchester. We always fly nonstop from Dallas to London Heathrow, and I suspect that would be the best bet from Orlando as well. The trouble with Cornwall and Wales, both fabulous coastal areas, is that they are a bit far of a drive from either airport.... about 4 to 5 hours.
