Back in 1986, some homeboys from a dj group called "Double Exposure" came up from LA to Sacramento and we ourselves had an East LA influenced group called Pleasure Boyz and we played a few gigs up here together as an alliance.. They gave me this record as a "recuerdo" and I still have it in my collection to this day... Brings back memories of the good ol' days from Sac-Town all the way down to East LA...

This brings back memories of my Jr high school days. Every friday, there would flyers for house parties and clubs to dance to this stuff. We would all pile into the back of mini trucks bumpin disco out of cervin vegas, cruzin in the SGV, ELA & Hollywood! I am gald I kept a mini truck. I still bump this stuff in my other cars and I am still waiting for history to repeat this era again--remember history repeats itself!

Canada really gets forgotten sometimes when it comes to great music from the 80's, but the early years had probably the best hi energy dance music, because when e-bay first came out years later most collectors were scrambling for all the rare italo records that most collectors already knew about or was about to find out by way of all the missing pieces.

there was another in downtown, don't remember exactly the street but those were the good times I'll never forget it. I'm 52 now mother and grandmother and I can say honestly I enjoyed my youth too the fullest.
