this song is a sentimental favorite in korea. i don't know who the original singer is though. but what i can say is that this performance had such an impact on the audience because this was back when even korean audiences were still discovering forestella. the bass and countertenor in particular had the power to wow! the song is a perfect disneyish romantic power ballad.

One of my favourite Korean songs-it's very well known and has been covered by so many people that the audience will love it from the start. The original was from 1994 by The Classic. Also popularised by the group TVXQ, and later ,Melody Day,. Also featured in a kdrama called Bogoshipda. Can you tell I'm obsessed with it..lol..? Lyrics Can you believe it? That in my dreams you are a princess that's fallen inside magic? Even though my gestures towards you are always so hard for me. However, it's always just a hard promise, that I'm going to save you again, no mater what. I put my two hands together and prayed, for endless courage and wisdom. Past the magic castle and over the swamps, I see you far away inside darkness' cave. Now hold onto my hand. Can't you feel our bodies rising? Even if we fly high up into the sky, freely, don't be scared. The world unraveling in front of us can be so special if we're together. Just because I am totally obsessed- very famous current singer Lim Young Woong sang it on a call in show for a lady who had lost her son, and he was so choked he had to start it twice. It was very moving, check out a video title'd LOVE CALL CENTER / LIM YOUNG WOONG [Magic Castle], Its on the channel 임영웅 , Don't forget subs so you can understand the backstory. Lastly none of this takes away from the talent and brilliance of Forestella. It's just even better when you know the cultural impact of the song which seems like just a pleasant ballad but carries more emotional weight than that . thanks for having Forestella on your channel again. Love them so much!

Thank you for your fantastic reaction to Forestella again! This was their first King of Kings stage in Immortal Songs. (You know Forestella is a record breaker winning 6 times in a row in KoK!) It was a case they didn't win. But they sang beautifully. I like their Hoo Ha humming here, seems they developed that humming in later works like Bohemian Rhapsody and finally got their first KoK win with Unwritten Legend. I think they used it in Shape of You too. It's so interesting to find how they are adopting new skills into their style. Forestella has more songs like this; non-Disney but sounds like Disney lol. My Favorite Things and Unwritten Legend will be entertaining alot. Can you believe these princes are the same guys singing Bad Romance? I love their versatility like this.
