A day at Disneyland is always a jolly holiday isn't it? Love it, especially on the non peak days like this, looks like y'all had fun. Also it's really really nice to see some Sherman Brothers love at Carthay. Disney and non-Disney , those 2 legends wrote pretty much all the best songs of my childhood. This day was a veritable smorgasbord of awesome, heh 🥰

I looked up the Silver Lake Sisters and there is an entire backstory about them. They performed at the Hollywood Tower Hotel and were believed to be there on that fateful night in 1939 when lightning struck and they entered the Twilight Zone. There is a lot more. It is amazing how much detail the imagineers put into these attractions.

Magic Happens actually does have a night version of the parade. It has a substantial lighting package and I even like it better at night. It was just not offered the day you went because there was an after-dark event.

I would think you would know the names of the Hitchhiking Ghosts by now. They’re Ezra (the tall skinny one), Phineas (the chubby, middle height one), and Gus (the short one). I know them cause Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at WDW and also they have something to do with my job.~~ That Oscar is really cool for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

One of those "Silverlake Sisters" is my ex-girlfriend. They shot those photos at the Pantages Theatre late at night/ early morning around 2013ish... The guy who designed Trader Sam's worked on that project.

Josh freese has certainly made a name for himself

When I was like 8, my family & another family went to florida for fall break. We went to Magic Kingdom & ended up going on the Haunted Mansion. The plan was my dad & I would get on, then my dad’s friend & his daughter would ride together. It turns out we didn’t know the floor moved. So we’re rushing to get on. It ended up, I get on & then it went too fast, they put me on with my dad’s friend’s daughter, who was probably 6. We were crying & screaming most of the ride. When we got to the mirrors part, her & I basically lost. That had to the highlight of my time there 😂😂
