I honestly get cold child standing out in 80 degree summer heat of Florida seeing this show. It reminds someone that there are still good things left in this world. Cold chills now watching it and wishing I were there!

The absolute best way to start any disney day! and to the guy talking about the little kid on the shoulder... oh lighten up..that little boy looked so cute from behind when you could see his excitement as the train rolled up! These little ones are only little ones for a split second of their lifetime..if putting them on shoulders is the only way they can see over the adults..then move to the left or right if that makes your view better :)

I loved this show. Every time it ended I was like omg it's time to go in!

Look at that kid on his dad's shoulders as the mayor is walking out. That;s the kind of excitement I have when I watch this show, unfortunately now it's barely magical anymore cause the show's been moved to the Castle and it's a different show, nowhere near as cool. Sad, but still love the Magic Kingdom. I'll be returning there tomorrow!

I used to be a conductor on the WDRR at magic Kingdom. This was the best part of the day!!!!! I wish they'd bring it back

I saw this show around January 2008 for my 7th birthday. That was 11 years ago and i'm 18 now. I don't remember much of the trip but this is one of the things I remember and I remember being so excited I couldn't handle myself. I haven't been back since but I hope one day I can go back again really soon.

Wow! I would really love to come early one morning to the welcome opening show of the Magic Kingdom, if they still do it everyday!

AGREE!!! And also when parents have a stroller, they immediately think they get special attention by cutting people or moving people out of their way, etc....

I'm SOO glad I saw this before they replaced it with the other show.

Going to the park first thing in the morning is always the best, but if it's your first time going BE PREPARED! As soon as they open the gates it turns into a stroller derby. You will get your ankles knocked into with every step with parents jacked up on 5 hour energy and the hope that they'll get to their favorite rides first. But little do most of them know, there's a rope at the end of main street they keep up until most of the people enter the park.

wow,this is too cool! The few times I was actually at Disneyland before it opened they just have the main street roped off and the herd just stands in line ;)

I went in 5 weeks ago and they did it! I'm pretty sure they still do, its pretty fun, you see everyone make a mad dash for their favorite rides!

Do they still do it? I remember Animal Kingdom had one at one time with Mickey and he appeared up by The Tree of Life. I think this was in 2008, and in 2009 they had a small parade with the characters near the front gates.

Do u know if they still do this??? I'm going in June and have breakfast reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table so if they still do this we might not get to see it because we have to check in at the castle.

I hate it when the when parents put their kids on their shoulder that NO ease can't see the show it make me mad that I can't Enjoy the show.. It just RUDE....... I think that Disney Need to Change the rules of the park telling the parents they can't put there Kids on there shoulder it not fair to everyone ease who come and pay to watch the show.....
