Loss takes it toll on you but if makes your heart stronger and makes you love more you have to share that with the world. Sometimes it breaks us beyond measure. But we fight our way back. And we learn to live life to the fullest because we know that is what our loved ones would want. It takes time but our become strong and the love we have shows through even stronger and brighter. I understand the feeling of closure, or as close as possible, when you are able to put a loved one to rest. My son was still born 11 years ago and it took me 9 years to afford a headstone and when it was installed, I felt a sense of peace I hadn’t felt since his passing. When my magical 6 year old daughter passed away last year, we decided to cremate her and have her on our fireplace mantle as the fireplace was her favourite place in the house. When we received her urn, I bawled, but it was both heartbreak and because her urn was perfect and she would love it. It’s a beautiful pink teddy bear with a jewelled heart and she was all about pink and sparkles 💗
