Before riding X2, I saw plenty of videos of the ride, and I knew the layout backward and forward. BUT... after going over the top of the lifthill and facing straight towards the ground, I had never felt so much fear on a rollercoaster... EVER! It catches you by surprise! At this point, it's the best ride I've been on when it comes to intensity!

I actually like spinning rides, closing my eyes will make me sick so I keep them open. But when it comes to certain certain coasters like mako in florida.... I had no choice but to close my eyes lol. I actually hate those types of coasters....air time is not my friend

My friend and I chose the front of the ride which is actually the back when the first drop hits. Being in the back, you pick up the full momentum of the drop, we both weren’t ready for it 😂

Yeah, when I first ride coasters, I assumed that it was most intense in front. I always sat in back. Later, I heard everyone saying the back feels it the most, and it made so much sense. I like to sit in the front now for the view.

Thag first drop is a nightmare… I’ve ridden this thing more than 10 time’s in my life…. And I never get used to it. It’s literally one of the most terrifying drops in the country… and probably in the world. I used to fashion myself a hardcore coaster lover… though not until I beat this ride.

You don't really see it in this video, but during the first vertical drop the car rotates so that you are facing down and it feels like you are going to slam straight into the ground. It's VERY scary.

i'll mimic what some others have mentioned here already and that is what an excellent job keeping the camera as still as possible while riding. X2 is fun and the anticipation of the first drop is crazy. hope you guys can do more with attractions out of state or possibly country when it's safe to do so. i'm sure you'd fine great roller coaster thrills all over the world

Rode the Extreme coaster at magic mountain several years ago and it was pretty terrifying. Wanted to back out while waiting in line but hubby convinced me to see it through. We have the best picture from that ride. It was white nuckle extreme. That drop is intense.

even being an enthusiast this ride freaked me out. I rode it once in the front and let me say, everyone says “oh my god it’s so intense”, but in the front it was not for me, definitely the most intense I’ve ever ridden but, not to far off from the second most intense ride. A back row ride I’ve heard is one of the most craziest coaster experiences, I’m going to find out next time I go

That was me the first time I rode it back in 2014. Only roller coaster ever to get me to scream and close my eyes. Rode it another 8 times that day. Good times!
