I absolutely love this - I picked up a bargain on eBay in Jerry’s Nuggets and loved it so much brought another one in Bicycle from an online shop - very clever use of the two complementary decks!

I love this trick. I don’t use the prediction, but have the audience pick a card (and I do a deck switch) So good and pretty easy with a little practice

Thanks for such a great review as always!!! So to ask for a review of something I would request a review on the mind power deck from John Kennedy Magic. I realize that this is probably not the newest product out there but I would still like to hear your take on it.

I practiced a lot and never could get it. I would say the gaff is much more subtle than on other decks.

Always a pleasure David. Can't wait for Die-abolical review in time. Its had varied reviews but yours usually answer the questions Iwe all have in code so well. Others are very careful and thus the review is not quite as informative for want of a better word. 😉

@@magicorthodoxy That was a quick response. Ice still got this video on pause while I made coffee. I'll watch the pen and teller performance by Alexandra first then the review. It sounds like a deck switch but I doubt it's that simple. Die-Abolical looks super good on the ad copy on KZfaq. Its expensive though and I doubt its value for money as so little is included.

I'm interested to know if others,, after practicing sufficiently, still could not get this to work 100%. I prob got it to 90%, but still not good enough. I wonder if the underlying ability needed ranges in people, like lets say if a trick (not this one) might become unreliable if the magician had a touch of color blindness.

I'm sorry, but I don't know how this fooled Penn & Teller. When I watched this episode, I was "screaming" at the TV, "IT'S JUST A [redacted] DECK!" and it sounds like from this review that I was right. Unbelievable. Honestly, I thought the trick to begin with was a little underwhelming so I'm gonna pass on this one. As always, I really appreciate your in-depth reviews, David. Keep it up!

Unfortunately, Penn and Tiller seem to prefer women, little kids and handicapped people for the program. I don't believe for a second this really fooled them. I have seen several other examples of this .. I don't think lay audiences will be wowed by this routine.. I really like your reviews, David....
