You know, minor issues aside I think MS does a good job of making an interesting figure in Legends scale.

The knees are actually double-jointed. There's another hinge under the red part.

It s a pretty cool scale tbh. If i had to do it all over again, i might ve collected cartoon accurate legends instead of masterpiece😁😁

BTW he has regular ab crunch too. It only works when his hips are facing forwards tho; the grill blocks it if the hips are on an angle.

This is one of my only issues with MS - sometimes the sculpt gets in the way of the articulation. On both this and Magnus, you can't use the thigh rotation when the hips are too far forward.

I mentioned this on Deluxe Baldwin's vid too, but some of Trailblazer's looseness is the result of the screw on the underside being too loose. I found that gently tightening that up solved a lot of my problems.

Which isn't to excuse Magic Square; that's something they should have caught. It seems to be a line-wide issue with this figure. But fortunately it's an easy one to remedy.

Yeah. You can get it as tight as you could possibly want. With something so easy to tighten, I actually prefer too loose than too tight (most 3Ps go too tight because tight joints are so often associated with quality, imo) - too tight leads to stress and breakage. Now it is true to say that other things are loose, too, and have been on other MS releases. However, I don't find these egregious - I'd prefer MS keeps it's output and cleverness of designs up and it's prices down so that we can get a full set of G1 legends so I don't want to give them a hard time over minor QC issues.

You have a few Magic Square reviews floating around that aren't in your Magic Square playlist yet, I hope I haven't missed any of them. I think they are awesome, even though I don't have any yet, I'll be looking for them from now on.

Another stellar review! I'm not a Legends collector per se, however, I've acquired a few over time and for what it's supposed to be and do, this seems, as you'd say, "fine"!

As you say, nice sculpt, but I'm not feelin the dull look of these figures. They look like sqwishy plastic, but I want my tfs, at all scales, to look (and feel) like they are made out of metal. Vehicle mode of the g1 toy, as well as bc and xtb accomplish that, this one would just look pale in comparison--literally.

Magic Square needs to step their Legends game way up before they go about tryin' to tackle Masterpiece. It would suck if these kinds of issues were to rear their heads with that Optimus they're working on!!

You’re better off using a potato, a penny, and a clementine citrus as scale comparisons because no one has those older horrific legends scaled toys you keep throwing in.

I guess I'm a cheapo. I havent felt these in hand, but the plastic looks like model plastic. These figures cost too much for me. 10-20 dollars too much depending on the figure.
