Makes me wonder what a Wand with Fractal burning would look like..

I'd love to play with fractal burning, but it's just SO dangerous. I think it would look cool on wands, but it could also be a flop due to the small diameter. I wonder if it would try to spread wide and just cover to much in the round instead of thinner lines running lengthwise. IDK...would be a cool experiment if I wasn't afraid of zapping myself to death. :D

It makes me think of a growing virus, I bet it would go wonderfully with makeup on the users hands replicating this effect, so it looks as if the ‘virus’/ dark magic etc is coming from them and through the wand!? Do you use leather dye a lot for the deep, dark crake within wands? Is there any other product you use at all or have you found that to be the best?

Weird organic design for sure. I thought it looked a bit fungus like as well. I don't use dye TOO often, but as an accent like on this wand it seems to work well. I do like it better than paint because it penetrates the wood and is less likely to be rubbed/scratched off. Heat and ebonizing fluid are my go to for color change most of the time, but they are limited in application and are only browns, grays, and blacks in color.

@@mythimpressions Thanks for your reply, I think I’ll attempt the friction burn on my next wand. Is there a specific type of metal wire you use for the friction burn?
