I like how ms.marvel's powers is within her instead of that bracelet. As for the comic accuracy, powers wise, she can still extend her hands, other than that the personality is so accurate that even the actress is like her.

This was a great episode! I really liked the whole music number bit because to think this is Iman Vellani's very first gig as an actress, she's is making one hell of a great first impression and can't wait to see her more as Kamala Kahn/Ms.Marvel!:)

I mean I haven’t read many of the Ms Marvel comics but I really really like this show so far. WandaVision has been my favorite MCU show for a long time and Ms Marvel is taking up that spot! I don’t mind the powers change but they seem to be going in an Inhuman direction 🤞🏻

I´ve seen a couple of reactions to this episode and realized that boys almost instantly felt bad for Bruno and completely understood why the scholarship thing came at the wrong time with the new guy recently appeared, but girls took more time to realize that he was jealous from the very first minute, some of them didn´t even thought about it until later in the episode. Anyways, the show is being much more than I could wish for, even though I had great expectations since the first trailer.

In one possible future in the comics, Kamala becomes Captain Marvel and wields Captain America’s shield. So the necklace is very appropriate! (And Steve and Tony are also Kamala’s idols along with Carol.)

No, you were right about the first episode. I mean yes, it is the name of a Ms. Marvel comic, but it is ALSO a play on Generation Y (Kamala's age group).

They are doing such a good job with this show. We're only 2 episodes in and they're knocking it out of the park. It's quite amazing that Marvel was willing to make this show and that they were able to give us this unique perspective, and ALSO incorporate superpowers. It's really amazing what they've done here. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Wednesday cannot get here fast enough.

I love your reactions to the episodes! Let me say that after the first two episodes, its clear that Ms Marvel is the best Marvel show we have been given on Disney. It is so entertaining, funny, captivating and wholesome. Iman Vellani is such a perfect actor, and the cinematography is top-notch. I too can't wait for episode 3, it will be intense and so good.

It's funny that kamala love (bazigar) not (DDLG) If you know the movie and you know what is happening with kamran in the comic is this forshadowing .god if they had played the song " bazigar" after she came home in love like in the movie I would have lost it 🤩🤩🤩 how I'm ever going to watch the movie or the songs without thinking about kamala and kamran now I hope they don't have the same ending

In the comics, Kamran is an Inhuman like Kamala as well as her childhood friend who actually tries to recruit her into a group of evil Inhumans I'm interested to see what they to with in later in the series

While I think she might technically be an Inhuman by now, I read a theory that one of her relatives was just a Kree like Carol's mentor and that is the compromise the MCU might go with because Inhumans does mean eugenics.

I love Kamala and this series, but now knowing that she will be matched with Captain Marvel and Photon in "The Marvels" aka Captain Marvel 2 Movie, I know we'll lose the cool light heartedness and animations that makes this series so fun. She'll have to be a grown up hero, like what Spider-Man had to be when he was thrown into space to fight Thanos...

U were curious about why the direction was a bit different well it because this episode was done by a different director. The first and last episodes are done by a duo (they did Bad Boys 3), the lady who did episode 2 will also do episode 3. And episodes 4 and 5 will be directed by the co-creator of the comic. So there's basically three sets of different directors! I'm only half way through ur video so gotta finish and I'll probably add another reply when done.

"Generation Why" _absolutely was_ a reference to Gen Y (Millennials). The comic that that title comes from was essentially about overcoming the nihilism that's so common among Millenials and Gen Z.

The scene where she is given alcohol is straight from the comic. womenwriteaboutcomics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/msmarvelreview3.jpg Same with the one in the mosque imgur.com/a/lBU6G65 They also call back black widow and Hawkeye during the soul stone thing (you have to let me go) when she is goofing around in the roof. Also The kid is wearing the stolen shoes! They a lot of small details in the show and you can see they really cared about it!
