once it gets colder, colorado would be perfect for a winter build! specifically houses in estes/aspen that have the cabin vibe (snowboarding/skiing is quite big there).

Fun fact as a massachusetts citizen Andover is actually where most of the witch trials actual happened ...something alot of people didn't know. And I was wondering where your inspiration came from this now makes sense as to why it was built this way Salem and most of the towns out that direction has this kind of architecture great job again gryphi! Brindleton bay is more like cape cod style homes where as Salem is more Boston like architecture This was done beautifully.

I second this! Alaska would be perfect, especially with the holidays coming up on us. In North Pole, AK its Christmas year round! The decorations are always up and you can visit Santa and the reindeer at Santa’s Workshop 🎅😊

I agree! I'm actually from Juneau, AK, and I was thrilled when they released the world of Moonwood Mill, because it looks just like the Tongass National Forest, where I grew up. The fact that they included Devil's Club as a debug plant just tickled me pink, because Devil's Club was everywhere in Juneau! Ms. Gryphi, if you're reading this, please do your Alaska build in Moonwood Mill.

I lived in Salem for about 3 years. It gets CRAZY crowded in October. I left town during Halloween every year because it was swarmed with tourists and traffic was insane. Beautiful build!

omg im from mass so im acutely aware of how busy it gets in october in salem, so whenever I take an autumnal, ~festive~ day trip there I make sure to do it in september LMAO

I love this series! I can’t wait for Maryland, my home state. It’s known as America in miniature because we have so many different environments here. We’ve got mountains, farms, cities, historic small towns, suburbs, swamps, beaches, forests and more. I always see so many different house types when I drive around.

*INDIANA! INDIANA! INDIANA!* You could use anywhere from Moonwood Mill to Hanford on Bagley! Lots of woods, lots of farmland! Lots and lots of corn!

You should do a west Texas house and put it in Strangerville! That town really looks like a little west Texas town to me. I'm from Houston, but small Texas towns are much cuter than a house from the city. You could base it on listings from Alpine or Marfa, or other little towns in that area.

I hope it isn't annoying when people get all Gaga about you building their states. I promise, this will be my last time! Massachusetts is absolutely packed with fun facts, especially for folks not from the US! On the note of colleges, I am surrounded by them in Eastern Mass, in the "5 Colleges" area, and there are far more than 5 opportunities to broaden your educational horizons! A drastic difference from the area I grew up, where you had to do some serious driving travel to get to the closest College or Uni. This build came at a great time, as we are at the tail end of the fall foliage transition, it went too soon. This is such a pretty build, I love your States series! It's odd, yet refreshing, to see such a brightly colored home in my area, most of the houses are white, pale yellow or pale green, and the occasional blue. 205k? That's how much this house is going for?! I'm dying to know the state of the interior. Hah! I'm lucky to find something that cheap in Eastern Mass and CT.

I suggest either Arkansas or Oklahoma( I’m from both lol) I think a big farm house would look so pretty in your style :) also maybe put it in autumn bc imo autumn in the south is actually so pretty!

This home is stunning! My dad grew up in Lexington Ma so my family would go to various Massachusetts towns and a lot of the homes there look like this. Especially in Cambridge. Lexington it's more center hall colonials and Victorians. Massachusetts does have some stunning architecture though

When you get to New Jersey, look at the Township of Montclair. There are a lot of gorgeous historic houses there. There are also a lot of 2-family houses (duplexes) that look like single-family houses but are divided on the interior to provide two dwellings, which could be a fun concept to explore. Parking is always to the rear of the house, and you’ll see a lot of Colonial Revival, Dutch Revival, and Queen Anne style houses!

as someone who lives in new england (conneticut more specifically) this is super similar to a lot of the homes in the wealthy areas of mass! you did a wonderful job with this house! mass is a beautiful place as is new england as a whole!!

California has so many different styles of homes. Where I live there’s a lot of Queen Anne and mission style homes. Plus some mid century homes

As someone from mass I can say this if pretty accurate. The only thing I would say is that these historical houses usually have a fireplace in every room because they were first built before heating!

This build is absolutely beautiful! The two washer/dryer sets may have been an accident but I think it kinda works since the house is so large you'd need multiple machines to get all the laundry done in an efficient manner. You could also probably convert the storage space into a butler's quarter.

In spring or summer, SC (Charleston) or GA (Savannah) would be great. They have beautiful, colorful homes there.

i think this is my favorite of all the houses that you have done. I love older big houses. This one reminds me of the Now and Then Century Mansion in the Sims 3. It kind of has that same look on the outside. Anyway i love this build

I absolutely obsessed with the Salem Witch Trials and actually have an OC who goes by the name Salem and is the niece of John Proctor (one of the victims of the witch trials). I love this series so much and you did such an amazing job at this house it looks gorgeous!

John Proctor isn't an actual victim of the Witch Trials, they're a character in Arthur Miller's play based on the trials

What a great build. You're so talented. My suggestion for another in the series is a California ranch style. It's an iconic look and that originated in the state. You can find lots of gorgeous examples online. I grew up in a ranch-style house and it's still my favorite style of architecture.

I'd love to see you tackle michigan, not a city/Detroit build but an Upper Peninsula build - it's so pretty with trees and water EVERYWHERE 🌲🏞 - people up here love to be outside all year round (and we get ALL the seasons ❄️🌨☀️🍁 ...sometimes multiple in a single day lol) - I live in the U.P. and we often get forgotten or made to be part of Canada or WI lol 😂 - I love ur videos and ur a huge inspiration to me 💜 p.s. a shotgun or plantation style home would be cool for Louisiana 😊

Mississippi!!! Especially with hometown on hgtv being filmed in Laurel, I work on art dept for show I see so many unique houses, even though Jackson Ms is the capital, Laurel or Jackson and even Canton have some nice houses.

Massachusetts! Thank you for mentioning legalizing same sex marriage in 2004. I took my daughter to the state house to show support and protest human rights being decided by popular vote. So glad it didn’t come to that. It is refreshing to remember that demonstrators for both sides were peaceful. Beautiful build - can’t wait to play in it!

I’d love to see a big ole classic farmhouse or a McMansion for Texas where I’ve been my entire life and back to my great great great grandparents! It’s a….a lot of a state but so beautiful. also if you do New Jersey soon, being from NJ i won't be mad if you focus on the shore type of houses. they are definitely a big staple of NJ and honestly the rest of the homes our here are normal looking in comparison lol

This is my fav series! I was wondering what you would do for MA or RI. If you do RI. I was thinking a ranch/spilt level/raised ranch. My bf is from CA and has mentioned that he has never seen that type of house where he is from.

I see a ton of these here in maine too! i live in the portland area and there are a lot of houses from the mid 1800s in the city and they get older as you get further from the coast (a fire nuked a good amount of the city along the water). I'm assuming you didn't mention MA bordering ME since ME used to be part of MA :P
