And who better to spend time there with than our fellow sailing mates from all around the world as we congregate in the bay of Opanahu for fun, frivolities and adventure!
And we can't get enough of the sting rays, and they can't get enough for us - which is always a bit disconcerting for us Aussies!

Ah, magical Moorea! Truely the center of paradise on this earth! Good to have friends around to share it all with. I think your children have salt water in their veins! They will never be far from rhe sea! This video makes me hungery for more!

Absolutely beautiful. It has been a dream for me to one day experience the South Pacific islands. Bora Bora and Moorea etc has been at the top of my bucket list since I was a kid. Maybe one day..... ☺

Moorea is heaven on earth. Above and underneath the water. But we got attacked by a lemon shark called Leon on the edge of Opunohu Bay. But got out unharmed. Bora is nice too, but much smaller. Go to Maupiti. So nice

Naughty Leon! Got stalked by a tiger shark in the Marquesas when following a manta ray. Really puts life in perspective!

Just stunning i have to take my wife there. We have a place in Honolulu but we have never been to Tahiti and its only a 5 and a half hour flight. Thanks for sharing. cheers x

Yes... and while our European friends were happy to frolick with the super friendly stingrays, deep down us Aussies were kind of freaking out...

Some people have done the full evolutionary transition from sea to land, and look crook when they try to go back to the sea and swim. On the other hand, there are a very few like El, who seem to have such an affinity with the water that they are still part of the sea world. Never go to live in a desert El!
