Adventure Elliot is a bilingual travel vlogger (English and Spanish) with a particular interest in the Spanish speaking world. I enjoy taking adventures - big or small - and my goal is to show the Spanish speaking world 1 video at a time.
The goal of my channel is simple yet complex: I want to document and share authentic & educational content of anything related to Adventure Travel, Geography, & Language in the Spanish-speaking world. It's kind of a loaded topic, but it allows me to never exhaust my creative outlets. The truth is, I've always been extremely passionate about what I'm doing on my channel, but I never properly documented it when I started adventuring as a younger man in my college years. I've made over 150 KZfaq videos in both English and Spanish, and I have aspirations to make 1000s more. If that sounds interesting to you, join the community and follow me along the way.. In order to get to this part of Spain you have to take a plane to either Santiago or Oviedo. From there you can either hike or rent a car. You could also take a bus/train to Santiago or a bus/bla bla car to Oviedo and hike or rent a car or take daily busses. The best way to explore is hiking, but obviously not everyeone can do that. I would say the best way to do it is rent a car in Madrid and explore the north with a car if possible, like Stuart from Spain Speaks. Take care everyone!

I was born in Madrid and I have (sadly) lived all my life here (I don't hate Madrid... I hate big cities)... but my parents and all ancestors are from Asturias. when I was a kid always vacation summers in my parent town.. when I was in my 20's every single time i had (not often) a bit of extra cash I took buses even if just for a weekend... these days (52 years old) I still go there anytime I can because there's nothing better in the world... nature, food (Oh, the food!), people.. everything. You nailed it. Btw, my town is Belmonte de Miranda... you should check it and won't be dissapointed but... next "concejo" at the North (something like a distrite or province) is Somiedo. If You like nature and hiking, You are in Asturias and you haven't gone there... that would be one of your biggest mistakes in life.. sadly most of Somiedo is forbidden as one of the most important "osos ibericos" reservoir in the world... but maybe You could ask a pass as press, youtuber, free advertisment, etc.. no idea about it these days. Excuse my english If I made many mistakes. Keep the good work... don't surrender.

@@AdventureElliot spanglish caribeño, y muchísimas palabras criollas venezolanas que vienen del beisbol y del contacto con las petroleras americanas en Venezuela. Mi inglés es básico y mas hacia lo escrito, y las películas en inglés original con subtítulos. Pero te escucharé con atención. Tienes buena dicción o me parece a mí.

Así como se ve el lugar, qué lindo y qué pintoresco! en Costa Rica no tenemos muchas casas y edificios antiguos. Este lugar es casi como ver un museo viviente. Me encantaría vivir en un lugar así!

Great video. Oviedo is on my wish list. Think I'm coming back to Spain sometime in September, I'll definitely check it out. It should be better now that I'm not working 4 days a week at a school, but I loved my time as an Aux. What are you going to do after this year?

Hey Ken.. Hopefully you can rent a car and recorrer through the north when you come back. I'm still in Malaga 1 more year, and I haven't got a clue as to what's next. Living in Spain legally will definitely be an issue after this year is up, but I still have 2 more years of elligibility. Who knows, my Spanish channel is really starting to grow fast, and if it keeps growing at this rate, I might start to do KZfaq full time. Un saludo.

Wow!! The waterfall with the Asturian Cross. Very cool. So, is this along the Primitivo? I have done the Frances from Ponferrada to Santiago, but not the Primitivo, yet. Have you been to Ponferrada? It's my favorite town in Spain.

I’m an extrovert.. all of what you see is real and I do that on or off camera. Being an extrovert in Spain is awesome because people are receptive to being social like this in the videos.
