Forgot to point out in the video, don't fall for stacking Will for the +Magic Damage % Bonus. That only affects the base 1 damage tick of your poison, any +Magic Damage or +True Magic Damage on your gear does NOT scale with % bonus, and that is where 99% of your poison damage will be coming from. Also, TRUE magic damage is usually better than regular magic damage, as regular magic damage will be resisted by magic defense. The only scenarios where true damage is WORSE is against a fighter with negative MDR% or a warlock phantomizing, as phantomize reduces their magic resistance by 50%.

You dont need that much true damage. you built waaay more than needed. If your poison is doing 18 damage per tick to a dummy with 0 armor(with 5 stacks), even a giga juiced tanky barb would reach like 50% MAX. meaning 9 true damage is already enough to reach the max potential. any other additional true damage you build is completely useless here.

true magic damage doesnt get effected by headshot bonus where as additional does, i know for boc warlock its a huge factor rogue idk

Well that warlocks movement speed was never enough to outrun the rogue, he had no counter play there he was just doomed the moment he walked into the rogue.

Gear cap was stinky, inflated the blue market. They need to incentivize high roller more before introducing a gear cap

It was annoying that decent purps sold for less then decent blues, made highroller a lot less attractive even when it wasnt too attractive to begin with since most purps wouldnt sell for much. Also didnt change much to normal lobbies since the people that would go into normals with BIS would still just buy BIS blues and stomp normals anyway.

The buff that poison rogue needs is to make rupture magic damage instead of physical damage, that would make it actually very good

Would be cool if there was a way to change certain things. Like imagine if there was a set bonus, accessory, or perk that changed rupture into magic damage. I'd love to see some things like this to diversify the builds.

@@Mekose I really don't want it to be a perk, maybe tack it on with poisoned weapon. Rogue has too many perks that he needs to be viable and I dont want to have to have another one lol

I think rupture was magical back then and was changed not sure though Stuff was changed at 1 point cause most people were playing rogue and running bleed

Funny build. Nothing like just watching them fall over after a few seconds. Also im pretty sure you can have knives come straight out of your inventory to refill the hotbar

the fact that you hit the opponent 5 times to stack that much damage and hopefully kill them while everyone else can 2 shot you (base wizards and warlocks basically one shot you) is insane to me.

hes killing most in 3 hits and maybe a knife with one of the fastest attacking weapons in the game on the fastest class...ye you cant trade hits with a barb but do you want a world where a rogue just trades and wins

@@Da5kone001 no of course not but right now you can't even engage others because you do so little damage if you're not really well geared. Even if you "oUtPlAy" someone and ambush them, you still end up having to stab them 6 or 7 times and 3 shots in they turn around and 2 shot you. It's not a huge problem for me I usually play rat and I am also often very well geared but especially starter rogue is just so ass you won't get any kills until you're geared

So when it stacks, does it stack in damage or DoT? Like, does it go from 1 poison per second, up to 4, for 4 seconds? Or 1 per second per 12 seconds?

I got a +35 magical dmg at my biggest point (mixed true and add) running a crossbow poison build, and I found out that viola has a scaling magical dmg, so sad I could not try it (I was also thinking of using a wizard to ignite me but damn the wipe came to fast for my tries)

I was running a similar kit but with both True magical and additional magical with a Rapier with True magical and a lantern with the same was ticking 23+ was nuts died to mobs because I'm big dumb xD

im a big poison guy, i use it no matter how bad and i think it could benefit more from will stacking tbh. also make throwing knife 3 stack again.

@@meraaa_ It does, ranger on the bridge at 4:40 dies to poison from a throwing knife. For some reason, training dummy will NOT be poisoned by throwing knives, but players will.

I feel like its a kit you slowly buy over like 7 sessions. The gear can be bought cheap a lot of timea since the build isnt too popular but just gotta be there when it eventually pops up. Could probably get a pretty solid poison build for like 1.5k though.

why gearless players are solty when they die... they looose nothing... in 5 secs he can queue a new game and have nothing there too. With how easy the game is with so much loot its really embarrassing not having any gear.

I'll bite from the POV of a naked longsword player. Trading for gear is really boring and time-consuming, also playing off meta builds you can just RNG into a losing match up even if you play really well (I also naked wizard and drop barbs/fighters who are stacked). The game is extremely unbalanced right now *cough* range meta, +wep dmg, +1 all *cough* and if I am going to die to poor game design, I would rather just queue next as fast as possible hoping the PVP I rush is not auto-lose, because even dying to BS is more fun than sitting in trade for 20 minutes.

Cant understand people complaining about the game and mechanics all the time.. if you dont like it just dont play it simple why cry about meta and stats or trade mechanics! Just go play Diablo or something.

Why bother with poison build, when you can 2 shot people stacking weapon damage? It might become more viable tommorow, if they nerf wp damage stackin.

its a meme build but yeah, its just objectively bad unless you are acquiring +magic dmg at less than half the cost of +phys. if a rogue had as much +phys as he had +mag (hitting for nearly 4 per poison tick is a ton of +mag, like 14-16) and got str (which is always good), it wouldnt matter what poison ticks for at 3 or 5 stacks because everything in the game outside a juiced pdr fighter will die to you instantly anyways. and that juiced pdr fighter wont die to 5 hits of poison anyways if he has second wind.

@@MoistOwletAO true. Also the game ttk is too fast, the battle always ends quickly in 2-3 swings. 4-5 max if it's juiced pdr fighter. 🤷 You can't stack enough poison with your hits most of the time .

it's meme, but it has some potential it's best used as a harasser build; keeping range and wearing down your target without letting them get a hit in. normal rogue build can be dangerous, i.e. getting reverse one shot by blow of corruption or an average barbarian

You make a good point but remember wep dmg items sell for a lot more and this build allows you to harrass the enemy. I did this build and used hand crossbows, was so funny.
