We've been watching videos to try to figure out it. Besides warm water, going slowly into the water seems to help.

I bought this for the kids and couldn't get it to work so far I'm going to try warm water I figured cold water would be best because it would make the ink cold and then slide off the spoon which you have to put it on the bottom of the spoon which doesn't make sense but I guess it does kind of so it can slide off better but it's awkward to hold why even make it a spoon anyways lol but if you didn't get instructions don't worry it doesn't come with any.

Hi Trevor, it doesn't matter if the water is cold or warm. What truly matters is the pen itself. If the ink inside is the ordinary one it won't slide off the spoon. But if the ink contains oil then it slides. I guess you didn't get the oily version.

Use steel spoon, draw on it let it dry that put it in little warm water it will come out

I just got it and I am really disappointed, too. No instructions, no porcelain spoon provided, and it didn’t work. That was a waste of money : (

You have to buy the spoon for about $14, doesn’t come with the markers..
